“Fantastic local hardware store with friendly, knowledgeable staff who actually take the time to help instead of pointing you down an aisle and disappearing. The selection is great, prices are fair, and they seem to have exactly what you need for projects big or small. The store is clean, well organized, and shopping here feels way more personal than the big box stores. Highly recommend supporting this place if you want great service and people who know their stuff!”

“Well stocked hardware store. Has the basics. Priced on the higher side, but it’s better than to drive out of town to Home Depot. Seeing Oliver the cat is always nice. Leashed dogs welcome, workers always friendly.”

“I've been doing business with this company for more than 10 years, and I am always happy with their work. The guys who make hoses do an excellent job and I have never once had any issue with the workmanship or product. They stop what they're doing and give you full attention, and the price is always fare.”

“A crew member helped me to cobble together a ceiling fan extension chain. He could have just told me what to do but, instead, he opened the items and created the pull chain. I then paid for the opened packages. A+ service. Thank you sir.”

“A small tension spring broke on my new Ferris mower. I called my closest dealer in MA and they said they didn’t have, didn’t check anywhere else, and said we’d have to order and be a week at least. It’s spring and tons of rain, I couldn’t wait. Called Sudden and gentleman said he didn’t have, but he then checked other locations, which didn’t have either, but he said I could order and since he was already ordering from Ferris he could add to the order. They received it the next day and even took the time to help disassemble their showroom mower to help show me how to install it. Fantastic experience and willingness to help even though I didn’t purchase the mower there. They’ve got a new customer now, thank you folks.”

“Excellent customer service. Employees are proactive and very knowledgeable. They were able to help me select the right products to complete a DIY project, which came out perfect. I will be back in the future, this place is 10000 times better than going to a Home Depot or Lowe’s etc.”

“I have been buying my lawn supplies from this company, specifically this location, for over 25 years. Every since the company was named Lesco, the staff, John in particular, have been a wealth of knowledge and better yet kind and personable. Your experience more than likely will be very similar.”

“Recently replaced all interior doors, windows, and trim using Kelly-Fradet. Andy was great to work with and made this a much easier process. He worked directly with my contractor when possible which took much stress off of me. All my questions were answered promptly and courteously. The delivery crew were very nice and careful with unloading materials. Will definitely use KF again.”

“I really like this store. I shop there often when working in the area. The employees are refreshingly kind, well trained at their positions & offer assistance usually before I have to ask. Prices are competitive with other stores & selection is as well. I've come to rely on Ace Hardware Stores as a dependable place to assist with many of my building needs as a home remodeling specialist”

“Helped me find what I needed to repair a machine. When they didn't have the part that would fit, the sales associate gave me the specs for the part that I needed. They also recommended I visit a local competitor who may have had it in stock if I needed it right away”

“Very convenient place to rent rarely used power tools. They are super helpful and will help you load and unload. The Home Depot app is also super convenient as it keeps track of inventory and lets you know how many of a particular tool they have, or if you have to look in a neighboring store.”

“I don't know her name, but the lady that helped answer my question and subsequently checked out the item I bought was so lovely. Really brightened my day. Thank you!”

“Went in because I had a very clogged toilet and had already bought an auger at Lowes that did not work - it was too rigid to twist into the shape of the pipe. One of the employees saw me and suggested I not buy the one in my hand because he'd tried it and it didn't work. He helped me find a different one - Rigid brand ironically - and let me tell you, in less than 30 seconds my toilet was working again! He saved my day!”
136 Elm St, Enfield CT 06082
“Overall, it’s a great store and I can usually find what I need. That said, it would be nice if they carried more basic residential items, such as assorted electrical connectors or household fuses. Those are the kinds of things you often have to go to a smaller hardware store for, and unfortunately Enfield no longer has Carr for that option. On the positive side, the employees are helpful and the layout is very user friendly. I also want to mention the manager I worked with one evening. She was outstanding and even gave me a discount on the delivery fee for my pellets since I was in town. That made a big difference and was truly appreciated.”

“Darryl went above and beyond by not only transporting the snowblower we ordered for pick-up onto our van with humor and a positive attitude, he also jump started our minivan shortly after once we found out our car battery died while waiting for pickup. He was such a pleasure to interact with and our late-night Lowe's trip (near closing-time btw) became a highlight of our day and a big relief thanks to him.”
