Pet Care
Ellington Center Animal Clinic
66 Main Street, EllingtonI cannot say enough wonderful things about the receptionists, techs, and veterinarians at Ellington Center Clinic. I was unfortunately blessed with a chronically ill dog who required frequent visits, and every single person there went above and beyond to accommodate her and make her feel loved and cared for.
They treated her like family, and they loved her just as much as I did. The compassion, kindness, and care they provide to every animal is truly unmatched. I will forever be grateful for the way they cared for my girl and for the love they showed her throughout her life. ❤

Pet-Friendly Restaurants
Kloter's Ice Cream Barn
216 West Road, EllingtonThe only place i’ve ever known to give away free ice cream dedicated to my name (in the past) they have given away free ice cream to many selected names and many places don’t do that; for the fact i was included (having a first name like mine which is usually a last name, I'm rarely included) it was just as welcoming as the staff who go above and beyond to make you feel at home while you shop around 😎☮

Trattoria Da Lepri
89 West Road Suite 4, EllingtonGreat place for a decent meal, things that stuck out were the apps, Calamari app is like a salad, very good combo with Arugula properly dressed. Entrée's were Pork Milanese which was thin and crisp, bolognese which was very good but creamy like a Vodka sauce and the short rib which was fall apart, nicely cooked but not the flavor were accustom to. Salads were outstanding with the highlight being the warm spinach salad with goat cheese, thick bacon, caramelized onions and fingerling potatoes- by far the best dish at our table!! Beet salad was covered with a balsamic glaze and goat chback. Wrapped up with coffees/espresso creme brulee, donut rounds whichnwere just okay, the apple crispnwas very cinnamony, really nice! Overall a nice experience and we will be back.

PawSafe Animal Rescue, Inc.
110 Sandy Beach Rd, EllingtonWe recently rescued a pup from pawsafe. Simple process to get approved and they let us check out all of the pups. With many of the other rescues it is like getting your top secret clearance to get a dog. Pawsafe was friendly simple and straightforward. With a rescue you never know what type of pup you are going to get because many times their history is unknown. Ours just seems to love on people all the time!! Thank you pawsafe!!!
