“I absolutely love coming to this post office on Enfield Street! Every visit has been a positive experience. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, professional, and genuinely willing to help.
On one visit, I brought in a package containing important documents. A postal employee recommended a mailing envelope that would better protect my documents, and I’m so glad they did. They took the time to explain the different options instead of just rushing me through the process.
I also had another very important piece of mail to send. I knew I wanted more than just delivery confirmation, and the staff carefully explained the available services and recommended the best option for my situation. Thanks to their guidance, the recipient had to sign for it, and everything arrived safely exactly as planned. That extra peace of mind meant so much to me.
This wasn’t just a one-time great experience I’ve been coming to this location several times, and the service is consistently excellent. The employees are knowledgeable, patient, courteous, and truly care about helping their customers.
I highly recommend this post office to anyone in the Enfield area. It’s refreshing to receive such outstanding customer service every time I visit. Thank you to the entire team for always making each experience such a pleasant one!”

“I got to say usually I dread going to the post office as much as I used to dread going to DMV DMV's new protocols make things a lot better all around as I've said before so I bet around 60 something years and I had experience at a post office in Farmington Connecticut that I had to share it was the one in the plaza with Ollie's Pizza I'm not sure what it's called it was the best experience of my life with the post office hands down and it was just a transaction but the person was pleasant polite and made things very easy people laughed at me when I had to yell out loud that it was the best experience I've ever had in the post office well just letting you know they should tape this post office and pass it around manners and politeness go a long way and they cost nothing and the difference is immense.”

“Passport stuff done here. I scheduled an appointment (needed to use a laptop, has trouble with website on my phone). The woman who helped me was great. She even redid the icky photos I had taken somewhere else (so you do not need to bring photos with you!). We went through all the docs. She knew what she was doing. It was quite an enjoyable experience considering getting a passport can be a bit of a chore.”

“Ms. Sharon and her team are very pleasant and always ready to assist customers. On one extremely busy day while waiting in a long cue, over the Christmas holidays, one customer burst into singing a carol to cheer the staff on. Everyone in the cue joyfully joined in. The staff was so grateful. In fact, it was a great experience to witness the community spirit because of the hard-working staff at this post office.There are cards and shipping supplies available for purchase as well as ample parking, including handicap access.”
“I have utilized this location daily for 27 years! Each and every employee from Christine( now retired), Jose, Maria, Destiny, Alex and others have always been extremely cordial and helpful. This includes their ability to assist in mailing locally, nationally and internationally. Always quick efficient and professional to make sure my items are mailed properly. Many customers who I have seen that seem in a rush or short on time are always helped with an explanation of what to expect on delivery times. Every staff member is top notch in my book.”

“4 stars because it isn't the working-man USPS in the trenches that makes the system laughable, but the overpaid honchos in charge.
Overpaid, I said what I said. Doesn't take much to oversee operations are a disaster from the top down, especially at this location.
Hopefully retirement comes sooner rather than later for some folks there, and a new generation of faces that care will take the helm, ones that at least sort of care.
Finally, I have an entire family of postal workers, don't tell me I don't know how you people operate. ?”

“I have always had excellent service at this post office. A couple days ago, I mailed a padded envelope at the Ellington post office. A half hour after I left I realized I had transposed two numbers on the address. I called the post office and Michelle went and dug out my envelope from the bin and corrected it for me. Thank you so much! Very much appreciated!”
