The travel time to Tolland is worth it, compared to being charged an arm and leg and then pressured to over-vaccinate, etc, at other vets. “Best vet for exotics ever. The Dr took amazing care of out hamster, that at just 1 year old developed a fast growing tumor. She saw that we were teaching elementary school kids about responsible pet ownership. She valued that and removed the tumor. (The hamster lived til 2.5 which is respectable, lol) We have been back to her for other exotics and she so is wonderful. She gives all the options and respects the owners opinions. I am so grateful for this office and vet. This office is the best !”

They are friendly, gentle with your pets, and honest. They don't just suggest you have things done to your pets so they make money.
They lay out your options and the cost of each and let you decide pressure free, and they answer all your questions.
I love them, best veterinary clinic I've ever taken my animals to.”

“Today was my cats first vet appointment with West Springfield Vetrenery Clinic. He is a shy boy and does not enjoy leaving his Domain and gets pretty fussy. However, they are so wonderful over there! Everyone took such good care of my kitty and were very attentive and gentle, especially Bri. She was amazing with him!! He was way calmer than I thought he'd be and thats because he was being taken care of by people who actually care..and that is important to me! I have not had the best experiences with my last veterinarian, so I'm relieved Bubby and I found our place! Thanks to everyone who made our experience there, refreshing.”

“I am a first time senior dog owner and feeding hills vet has been nothing short of incredible in his care! We mostly see Dr. Saraya Loretta, but others in the practice are great as well. Despite being a busy practice they are consistently prompt responders to my questions. The environment is customer friendly and clean. They gave me no issues sending prescriptions to chewy for my dog and are always transparent about cost when discussing care. They really act like he’s one of their own pets! Today, I got a personalized email of our entire visit so I don’t have to remember every little thing moving forward. So grateful I found this office.”

“Dr Sachdev is not only an intuitive veterinarian but a kind, caring man dedicated to helping people care for their pets. I started with him back in the mid ‘80’s, with a plethora of pets over the years; left for a while due to time/ location but am so grateful to be back over the last 8 years. Dr’s experience & skillset helped me keep my DaisyMae (with chronic thyroid issues) healthy till it was time for her to have eternal rest at 18.7 years old. Huge shout out for Katie and Jenna who are always on their game despite the busy and often chaotic front end, they do the hard work with dedication to pets and their owners. We adopted Marco, a shelter/rescue kitty they had housed for a year and we look forward to continuing our journey there at River Valley.”

“Dr. Jose Oyola Morales was a very caring and capable provider when I brought my beloved cat into the ER. I was grateful for his compassion when the time came to say goodbye to my little one, and he was empathetic throughout the process. The techs involved were also very kind. It was a peaceful goodbye.
I am only removing one star for the quality control process with the cremation — the first thing I saw inside the Ziploc bag containing her ashes was what appeared to potentially be a stray metal/wire bristle, possibly from some type of broom or brush used during the process. I do think this should have been easy to see and remove before it got to me, but maybe not every owner opens the wooden container so it was assumed to not be an important step to double-check.
Overall however, a facility with caring staff that made the hardest goodbye just a little bit easier.”

“Dr Bell has been my dog's vet since she was a few months old, and she turns 12 years old next month. He has always approached her care with compassion and a no nonsense attitude that I am so grateful for. His knowledge and expertise are invaluable. My dog adores him - how many other dogs love seeing the vet?- and I can tell he truly cares about her in return. She now has heart problems and he helped us find a local cardiologist for her and educated us about aspects of her issues. I need to call his office today about an issue that has come up and it helps my anxiety to know that whatever happens my dog will be in great hands with him. I now have a puppy and 2 cats in addition to my senior dog and I trust Dr Bell with all of their care. I can't say enough good things about this wonderful vet.”
