“Extremely grateful for the staff here. Spent all day yesterday looking for cards which people have been clearing to resell. Finally found them available at this store and they had limits which ensures there are plenty to go around. Thanks so much!”
“NEW ACHIEVEMENT: Bookstore Boss Defeated
Wesleyan RJ Julia Bookstore was the only place in my entire 75-mile crawl radius that had the book I was looking for in stock. That alone earns serious loot-box respect.
The store was great, the staff was friendly, and the whole place had strong “safe room before the next floor” energy.
But the real legendary drop came halfway through the book. I’ve been struggling with my pages ever since I lost my bookmark about three books ago. Then, out of nowhere, I found a bookmark tucked inside that the staff had left there.
Reward received: +1 happiness, +1 page-tracking ability, +100 loyalty to this bookstore.
Great shop, great staff, and honestly, Mongo would approve.”
“This was a great experience, and I wish they would reopen Barnes & Noble again in Dallas, Texas. I was back in Connecticut visiting when I went to this store. It was like stepping back in time. The whole atmosphere was still comfortable and inviting. I found a gift for my Mom, and didn't want to leave. I felt like I was a little kid again back in Bloomfield, CT. Next time I'm hitting the bakery!!?”
“This place is a hidden gem 💎 Eve was wonderful as soon as I walked in she told me where everything was with her easy to remember spiel! They have more tarot & oracle cards then I’ve ever seen in one place! Huge selection of crystals! I will be back next month! ✨🌕🤍”
“The owner is a sweetheart and a fair businesswoman. The store is organized and clean. Good vibes. She is very knowledgeable about the products. Prices are reasonable as well.”
“I've been coming to this bookstore for about three years now, and never had a problem. They do their best to bring you any textbook you need, and if they don't have a certain one, they'll either give you a timeframe of when to expect it or recommend you to check somewhere else.”
“I ordered my online access through this particular store and spent an extra $20 for 2nd day delivery. That was last week. I ordered on the 3rd and delivery may or may not happen on the 9th. A refund of $20 would be nice since it took one week. Just saying don't spend the extra money, definitely not worth it!
Update 9/9. So, it looks like my delivery went to Springfield, Mass for a vacation for 3 days, then it ended up at my post office for a 3 day stay-cation!...all via USPS. I'd like to make a suggestion, maybe next time my $20 could go to FedEx or UPS and could have had my purchase last week. My class starts Wednesday, hopefully the books' vacation is over. And I changed my rating from 2 stars to 5 because they did a good job trying to get my online access to me and I give less than 1 star to USPS for keeping my access on vacation for no reason.”
“Get in touch with your spirituality at this cute little store...Lots of books, stones, candles, and great gift ideas! She also sells Young Living Essential Oils if you're into that...the only thing I wish she had more of was basic stone rings...”
“We love Barnes and Noble and College book stores. This one was no exception. Very large selection of textbooks. Nicely laid out, not large compared to other Barnes and Nobles, but still a very nice selection of books.”
