. The Apple Store located on Greenwich Avenue presents itself as a modern and sleek retail environment, as is typically expected from the tech giant. However, my recent experience at this establishment left much to be desired. One of the most striking issues I encountered during my visit was the apparent lack of expertise among the store’s personnel when it comes to iOS software. Apple, renowned for its user-friendly ecosystem, should ideally have employees who are well-versed in the intricacies of their software. Unfortunately, my interaction with a staff member revealed a significant knowledge gap, which was disheartening, to say the least. The most frustrating aspect of my visit was the mishandling of a service request. I had arrived at the store with all the required documentation and information, ready to address an issue I was experiencing with my Apple device. However, to my astonishment, I was sent away and advised to contact Apple’s customer support. This led to a considerable waste of both time and energy, not to mention the financial resources expended on my visit to the store. While the Greenwich Avenue Apple Store maintains its reputation for a stylish retail space, my recent experience was marred by inadequate knowledge among the staff and a frustrating miscommunication regarding the services offered. For a company that prides itself on exceptional customer service and seamless software integration, this was a disappointing visit that should prompt a reevaluation of their in-store practices.

First ever one star review I've written (I would give 0 stars if I could). Took my MacBook Pro in to get its screen fixed. Cost me 600 bucks.Less than a month later the screen won't even light up. Took it back and two weeks later, the store contacts me saying that they couldn't figure out what went wrong. They then returned the laptop after factory resetting the entire thing. WIPED CLEAN OF ALL MY FILES AND LIFE'S WORK WITH NO CHANCE OF GETTING ANYTHING BACK.If you break your laptop. There's no point in coming here. They're just going to make things worse. Pooh-Pooh.

I recently visited the Apple Store on Greenwich Avenue to pick up some cables, a new MacBook Air, and an AppleTV. Opting for the in-store pick-up option through the Apple app was a breeze. The whole process was quick, efficient, and hassle-free.The staff at this location was friendly and accommodating. I didn't encounter any issues during my visit, and they were more than willing to assist with any questions or concerns I had. However, my only gripe is with the parking situation in the area. It's a bit hit or miss, as it's mostly metered parking outside. Due to the presence of other businesses and restaurants in the vicinity, parking spaces can be quite limited and fill up quickly. That said, if you can overcome this minor inconvenience, I wholeheartedly recommend this Apple Store location.Overall, my shopping experience here was positive, and I'm satisfied with my purchases. If you're in need of Apple products and accessories and can navigate the parking challenge, this store is worth a visit.

One and half hours waiting in store to collect an online order… No wonder their products are as “exclusive” because it really is impossible to buy them even though there are more staff than customers in the shopWent to the shop. They say the online order from 90 minutes ago is “not released yet” so they can’t give it to me. In my mind i thought it’s just be check my ID and get it from the storeroom…I asked if i can cancel and just buy directly in the shop. They said no sales assistant available for at least 2 hours. They said phone Apple and they will release it.That phone call has taken 30 minutes. The system will email me once it updates.Might be as much as another 20 minutes. Finally it updated and the assistant said the “team downstairs are getting it”. Getting it from downstairs took 25 minutes… somehow…

I brought in an Apple Watch that didn’t respond to Hey Siri. The tech said the mic was broken & could be repaired for just under $200. I went on line & followed the advice to clean the small mic opening with a qtip & alcohol. For pennys the problem was repaired.

Great Genius Bar team (I met Dan, team leader, Ashley and Rolando): professional, very helpful, very knowledgeable, courteous, friendly, very thorough and very clear in their explanations. My first experience with the Genius Bar: in my many years of using Apple products, I’ve never had any technical problems with them. However, I had questions about unsafe websites, online scams, and viruses, as I had received a suspicious email—even though it’s well known that Apple’s operating system offers the best automatic protection there is on the market against such issues.I consulted Dan, the team leader, and Ashley, specialist in viruses & scams, and learned about the steps to take to handle the email in question. Some weeks later, I visited the Genius Bar again. This time I was helped by Rolando, who proved as great as Ashley had been. A family member had given my wife and I an old iPad after upgrading to the latest model. Although we already had two later models, we accepted the gift. But that family member had forgotten to touch the reset button and erase everything on this old iPad before mailing it to us, which resulted in some issues that Rolando helped us fix quickly and completely.I feel so lucky, grateful and secure to have access to such a team in my home town.

Just god awful. If I could give a lower score I would. If u want to buy a new MacBook I’m sure they would be helpful. But if u came back the next day for a repair have fun waiting 30 minutes to talk to someone. They are painstakingly slow and are completely oblivious. DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS U WANT TO BE SHAFTED AFTER YOUR PURCHASE WITH THEIR SLOW AND ANNOYING STAFF.

Employees were patient and kind amid me crying twice at the price of a new MacBook as a college student!

Me: I bought a new MacBook Air here last week. I'd like to get a keyboard and an extra power cord for it. Assistant: I don't know if the Touch ID on the keyboard will work if it's paired with a MacBook. Hold on. [goes into the back room...returns...]. It might not work. We aren't sure. We haven't tested it.Me [in my head]: TWO Apple Geniuses aren't sure if it will work??? Perhaps basic product knowledge isn't their forte. [I left without purchasing the keyboard or the power cord that I had intended to buy.]

The Apple Store in Greenwich offers an impressive range of great products that showcase Apple's commitment to quality and innovation. From iPhones to MacBooks, their selection is top-notch and caters to all tech enthusiasts. However, the customer service experience can be hit or miss. While some staff members are knowledgeable and helpful, others may come across as disinterested or lacking in attentiveness. It would be beneficial for the store to focus on consistent and attentive customer service to match the exceptional products they offer.

There are a few employees here I love. They're understaffed.BUT they stop answering the phone WELL before closing time, which would be fine, but they don't tell you!!! I just wanted to ask a super easy question, ended up sitting on the phone, waiting for an answer for over 20 mins. If they're not going to answer, they should get a message that says that. Personally, that's bad management. It just rings for several minutes then hangs up on you, forcing you to go through the phone menu again if you want to try again. It's just unprofessional. Inconsistent with other Apple experiences. I love Apple and don't leave negative reviews, especially because I know there are good people who work here... but I also know there are bad people who work here; people who say they are helping you and then just leave, never returning.... Most importantly though, why is Westchestire's Apple store answering calls at 6:50pm but not Greenwich, when they're both open until 7pm??

Literally can’t get help in there. All I needed was an Apple Watch charger. Asked an employee after struggling to find one and he POINTED me to where I was. He refused to make eye contact and it was very obvious he couldn’t be bothered. So I go back and again can’t see any, several employees watch me struggling but no one wants to help. Left without an Apple Watch charger and very frustrated.

I waited a while when I went to buy a phone. Meanwhile, four employees are talking to each other. When I asked the employee who wrote my name for my turn, he said four employees are managers and only two sales specialists are working.Good job, 4 managers and 3 employees (1 only scheduling appointments).
