“Palmers pharmacy is a very unique place in the sense that it's service oriented. Unlike big chain companies rushing you out, at Palmers they wants to get to know their customers in order to better serve them. Interestingly this the only place around town you will find where they make up creams, animals medicine, or any special type of compound prescription (all hand made in front of you). The owner Louis is very nice, knowledgeable, and is very open to helping you out with any of your medical needs. This indeed is a very special place, and right next door to the greenwich hospital.”
“My experience is too long for this forum...BUT, I'd like to call out extraordinary concern, service and resolution of my problem, 9/15/24 at CVS 122 East Putnam Cos Cob, CT (Pharmacy). I was in a difficult, time sensitive, issue that needed special attention. Store was VERY busy...luckily I caught attention of Pharmacist EMMA...she listened to my problem, investigated, and I was on my way in less than 15 minutes...despite other people in line clamoring for her attention. GREAT JOB, EMMA and thank you...ALL future prescriptions going to your store...I'm sincerely grateful for your help.”

“A family member must take a certain Vitamin every day. We had run out. Earlier I went in person to a CVS branch however they did not have the Vitamin in stock . I then went home and placed an online order and paid for the vitamin on line at the CVS website. When I got to the CVS Riverside branch to pick up the vitamin I learned that they too did not have the Brand Vitamin in stock. However "Monty", the CVS Riverside CVS team member asked if I would accept a different brand of the Vitamin as long as the formula was the same. I agreed, the CVS team member Monty went with me to the correct aisle and found the correct Vitamin formula. I paid for the vitamins. Problem Solved. Thank you CVS Team Member Monty for caring prompt service.”

“Somehow I lost one of my prescriptions; I called CVS at West Putnam Ave in Greenwich, CT to see what I could do. Spoke with Michele in the Pharmacy. She took the time to see if my insurance would cover a new refill (they wouldn't, surprise!). The cost would've been around $175.00. I said I couldn't afford that and Michele then said she'd see if she could apply a coupon. After being able to apply the coupon, she brought it down to $17.00! That I can afford! You know, it was just a few months ago that this CVS Pharmacy location was horrendous: prescriptions taking forever to fill, lack of customer service, drive through being closed, impossible to speak with a live person (ok, that one is still a problem, but getting better!), long unmoving lines (still long lines on occasion, but moving a lot faster).
I'm happy to say it's almost a pleasure doing my Pharmacy interactions here once again!
I gave 5 stars. There's always room for improvement, but today and my last few interactions were 4 or 5 stars!
