Great book store with a very large selection of all different books. Staff is nice and the overall atmosphere of the store is very clean and inviting. Some of the books here are signed by the authors which is really cool to see when buying a book. I recommend shopping here and will come back again soon.

Helpful staff and a big selection of books were available. I try to support local businesses vs. somewhere like Amazon or Walmart, but I was super surprised when I realized I paid $15 for a mini 1x2inch journal. Still, at least my money was better spent here than at a large chain.

Bank Square Books is a locally owned, fiercely independent bookstore in downtown Mystic. We are offer a wide range of books, ebooks, and audiobooks for all types of readers—as well as gifts, toys, educational materials, and cards. We believe a bookstore’s main purpose is to serve its community. We host hundreds of author events every year for all ages from toddlers to adults. Our sister store is Savoy Bookshop & Cafe in Westerly, RI.
