If you want exceptional support from a cellular carrier in New Haven, start with T-Mobile at 109 Church Street. Store Manager Tanika and her assistant, Asia, are standout professionals—true stars of the branch and the industry. Although I recently left T-Mobile for a year of free Xfinity service, switching was disastrous: I lost cell service for 26 hours and voicemails for eight days. Despite my departure, Tanika and Asia spent two hours trying to solve an issue that wasn't T-Mobile's fault. They showed extraordinary care and technical skill, treating me like family well after I switched carriers.
Not a Carrier Recommendation:
I’m not telling you which carrier to pick—we all seek the best plan price. Even after a discount, T-Mobile was still pricier. If you value personal, high-quality support, Tanika and Asia are unmatched. But if basic support meets your needs, higher pricing may not be justifiable. It’s your choice.
Verdict on Xfinity:
The jury is still out. Problems persisted: credits promised for poor service were missed, and I spent another hour resolving it. The $600 savings buys patience for now, but after the free period, Xfinity must earn my business on price and service.”
