“This place is a hidden gem. When the big alphabet pharmacies could not fill some prescriptions for us, this place came through. Plus, you are not number 9 in line waiting to pick up your script. It's just too bad they do not have some limited hours on Saturdays.”

“We have been very happy with this Walgreens. In the seven years we have been turning to them for prescriptions, vaccinations, and the usual range of drugstore items, the staff have been uniformly friendly and helpful in finding things. (Definitely can't say that about the CVS off Connolly Parkway, though when we moved to Hamden, we came as CVS regulars from our previous home elsewhere.) Yes, the store is older and could use a little sprucing up. But it's clean, well-stocked, and very well-run. (If they run out of an advertised item, they have been quick to offer a rain check.) The pharmacists have gone out of their way to be helpful on several occasions, and the pharmacy and front end wait has generally been been shorter than at CVS). The store may be a little homely, but it's a neighborhood asset no less than Spring Glen Hardware. Remove review”

“I needed some medication for my cat and my doctor called it in to Apex pharmacy. There was a mixup in whether I was picking it up or it was going to be shipped USPS and a card was charged incorrectly. I spoke to several of the employees there who were all very pleasant. I finally talked to the manager refunded the card with no problem. The medication was actually still at the store so I was able to go pick it up. He showed me how to use the medication and made everything very easy. I highly recommend Apex pharmacy to anyone.”

“I find this Walgreens pharmacy to be the best. It is close to home with a decent drive thru unlike competitors.I’ve received my vaccines as scheduled and see no negative issues at all.Insurance issues have not been their problem as some medications are now in a different tier causing problems with eye drops, for example.I recommend this pharmacy for its great help. The store has all the basics and is uncluttered. The register upfront can be backed up so two people are needed. No problem for me to wait a few minutes.”
