“I'm surprised at all the negative reviews. I have condo insurance with Travelers and had a great experience. I had water damage, mostly to my floors, after a freak rainstorm. The agent who did the initial estimate was knowledgeable and explained everything well. Because other units in my building were affected, the condo association undertook masonry work to avoid a repeat so I delayed repairing my condo until this was completed. This was very slow and it was about 2.5 years before I finally got the renovation done. Since it took so long my claim was handled by different adjusters. There was only one I didn't like. Thankfully he was not the one who was handling my claim once I actually prepared for and had the work done. Travelers put me up in a nice hotel and Joey even checked in with me as the end approached to make sure everything was going ok and whether I needed an extension to the hotel. As it turned out I did and the hotel was extended for an additional week. Since my claim dragged on for so long I had 2 renewals of my policy in the meantime and there was no large increase in my premium. Hopefully that will continue now that the work has finally been completed. The claims were paid promptly through Zelle.”
