βTheir deli grinders are the bomb! Cheaper than Jersey Mike's and of better quality than Subway. Most of the grinders are around $10 or less and you can call in advance to place orders. No need to wait in line.
The only issue is the store is very old and doesn't look very clean in some areas, but nothing I bought was ever spoiled.β
βFinally getting around to writing a review! I live about 20 minutes away, and my husband and I make it a point to stop in most Sunday afternoons for a quick bite and our weekly groceries. The staff up front is always so friendly and welcoming. As Iβm getting older, shopping isnβt quite as easy as it used to be, but thereβs a lovely young woman, I wish I could remember her name I think it started with an M, who is always incredibly kind and helpful with my groceries. She bags everything so thoughtfully and makes sure nothing is too heavy for me, I make it a point to go through her lane when the time comes. We had such a nice conversation the last time I was there. Also, the woman at the deli is an absolute sweetheart and made my grinder perfectly! Iβm giving four stars only because things looked a little messy when I came in, but hey, we all have off days. Overall, such kind people and a place I genuinely enjoy coming back to.β
βGreat store with great prices and friendly employees. Everything is so organized and it's easy to find the items I want. Though the one thing I wish Aldi could approve on is investing in more riding carts for the elderly and disabled. I often shop here with my Grandpa and he is unable to walk and stand for long periods of time. Sometimes the riding cart is taken or dead due to no one charging it.β
βPlaced an order for fish and chips, pieces were the size of a small dinner plate. One serving was good for 2 people, with extra left over. Thank you! This was one of my better experiences at Big Yβ
βLocated in Hebron, CT right in the center across from CVS. They make their food which is absolutely delicious!! Fair prices and close to home. Anything you need from a grocery store they have?β
βAs an Asian market it's fantastic that this establishment is in our neighborhood. I was traveling to Boston Chinatown for my authentic Asian sauces, and Asian foods to make my Authentic Asian meals. I was pleasantly pleased to find this Jewel right in the heart of Norwich. And the staff are pleasantly helpful.β
βLove this market! So many choices and fresh veggies...has everything. I don't think you can find a friendlier shopkeeper than the one at this market. I love going to this market and buying my Asian needs.β

βthey have so many varieties of food, drinks especially for the Spanish community, they have western union, you can pay bills there. is a great convenience place to get quick things and servicesβ
βStopped in for some flowers for my son's graduation... Got a few bunches and a couple plants and a quick bite to eat at the sushi counter (wish all the store had the same stuff, a rice bowl would've been better than what I grabbed)...β

Great prices, accepts manufacturing coupons and they give more of their own coupons as well! Dairy free options and all household needs are just some of the things you can get here.β
βI've always loved S&S...& their products (S&S Brand) R very good 4 store brand , can't say that about a lot of other places , that's 4 sure!! So, I'll continue to b loyal to stop ~n~ shop. I hope they don't shut all of them down, that would SUCK!!β

βI found a great variety of flavoring for waters. Was pretty surprised to see so many at such a great price. Shelves are well stocked, and staff were friendly. There's also an invipco can and plastic machine on this store. Plenty of parking and a large store.β

βMet an associate there. Nice lady with a cane named Lisa. Iβm not from here and she was more than happy to assist and give me some free advice. The customer service was great from everyone. My husband and son were assisted by Gina while buying fishing licenses and she was great too. Marcia cashed us out upfront. I just canβt believe how nice and helpful all the employees are here. Such a welcome change to what we are used to back home. Thank youβ
βThe store has been redone. Employees remaining there for a few years and are super helpful, kind and attentive. Many good sales and they are pretty good at getting everything put out. I do recommend them to everyone in the area.β
