“I visited River Bend bookstore for the first time while passing through on Valentine’s Day. It is a very small store but was such a fun experience. The store itself is clean and bright and the staff all courteous and friendly. They had a fun little game of valentines tic tac toe for patrons to play that coincided with books in the store and you personally. I completed the game and got a prize for participating. There aren’t a ton of books in the store but a nice selection, plus a whole little room dedicated to kids books. I purchased a few things, a book for myself and another for a gift. I highly recommend this bookstore if you are in town.”
“I’m not really a crystal-buying guy, but I try to come out here as much as I can for their collection of esoteric books and tarot cards, offered at reduced prices. A metaphysical outlet store, if you will. Great stuff.”
“Great experience, they have books, unfortunately there books are in most cases a lot more expensive than Amazon and a few other online sellers. If you need a book and can't wait this is the place to go, but if you can wait and want to save a lot lot lot of money then online sellers are the place to go. You would have to wait foe the shipments.”
“This was a great experience, and I wish they would reopen Barnes & Noble again in Dallas, Texas. I was back in Connecticut visiting when I went to this store. It was like stepping back in time. The whole atmosphere was still comfortable and inviting. I found a gift for my Mom, and didn't want to leave. I felt like I was a little kid again back in Bloomfield, CT. Next time I'm hitting the bakery!!?”
