“I had the pleasure of working with Margie Satell at Ethan Allen in Manchester, CT. From the start she was very friendly and knowledgeable without being an overly aggressive salesperson. After listening to my end goal, she steered me in a direction that I never would have taken for kitchen stools. She even went above and beyond her duty by bringing a sample to my home to show me how it would look in my kitchen. After placing my order, Margie consistently contacted every so often me regarding the lead time. (The swivel section of the stools had a longer than average lead time) The stools finally arrived today and are much more beautiful than I expected! The leather seat covers look amazing and the quality of each piece is outstanding. I am so pleased with the choice! Many thanks to Margie for her design expertise; she was terrific to work with!T”

“World Market is such a beautiful store. It has so much nostalgia for me, because here I can find some delicious German treats that I'd have as a kid that I'd never know still exist if it weren't for World Market. There are isles of international cookies, chocolate and other goods. There's also beautiful furniture, pillows and kitchen items. I personally wouldn't invest in a couch from World Market because it's typically very expensive, and you can find similar items at other retailers. But they have unique accent chairs and small attractive furniture items. My favorite thing to get here, in addition to the chocolate, are the Christmas ornaments. They are so, so beautiful, and so unique. There is so much detail in each one. Now that it's after Christmas, they are all 50% off, making each one around $2.50 - $4.00. If you have a World Market in your area, I'd encourage you go and check them out. While some items are more expensive, the unique items, hard to find items and the nostalgic items are what it's worth stopping for.”

“The outside is very deceptive, it looks like it would be a small little shop, but when you walk in you'll realize the business extends far back into the building. If you're an antique lover you'll lose your cool walking in here. The selection of items is rather staggering. Great old furniture, nick knacks, jewelry, watches, an impressive assortment of odds and ends. It's easy to lose track of time while browsing around in there. Picked up a couple of Tom Jones vinyl records and they're awesome. She's a lady! Whoa whoa whoa, she's a lady!”

“I was there and I loved it The Christmas stuff is so so beautiful I bought like a lantern the old fashioned kerosene lantern and it had Cardinals in it and it lights up and the snow was snowing in it moving it around as well it was very very nice and I would like to go back again”

“The manager, Chelsea, gave just the right amount of help without hovering, when we first went in. The designer, Kylie, came out to our house to help choose complementary items to the sofa we had chosen. Can’t say enough about her! She was extremely helpful. I will go back to that store first for all my future furniture needs, for the La-Z-Boy quality and knowing I will not make an expensive mistake with help from Chelsea and Kylie.”
