“I have been living here for six months, and I love it! I signed a lease without checking it out in person as I was moving here from out of state, though my sister toured it for me and loved it. The apt was freshly painted when I moved in, and absolutely spotless. You can tell it is well built with durable materials and nice finishes. The complex is beautifully maintained thanks to regular landscaping and cleaning crews, and the management does a great job. They email us community concerns, and also fun things, like the food trucks that come about 3x/month. Having the bark park is great for my dog to have a chance to run around off leash, and in my experience the other tenants are very considerate around sharing amenities. The pool is fabulous, and so is the club house, which can be reserved for your book club or birthday party. Also, whatever they use for soundproofing should be mandatory in all construction; I rarely hear my neighbors. The balcony was a big selling point for me, harder to find than you might think, and there is also plenty of parking for tenants and guests. I never dread coming home trying to find a space. If you are searching for a home that has everything you need, is well maintained and well run, check this place out! You will be happy here! :-D”
“Highly recommend for students and/or people looking to live downtown with a cheap rent and great management company. Never had issues that were mentioned by some of the other reviews. Management was super understanding when I was unable to pay rent on time due to being out of town and did not charge me a late fee for it. Rent increases for the year is very small and repairs/maintenance issues were resolved usually within 48 hours.”
“I live down the street from this complex, I recently had a package mistakenly delivered to 220 Fountain Street Apartment. I decided to stop by and see was it turned in to management, while there i met with Trevor the Assistant Manager
Trevor went above and beyond checking their mail room, sent out an email to other staff looking for the package, he check the cameras and he took my name numberand email incase it showed up. He emailed me by the end of the day to let me know the package was never found. Today, 3/11/26, almost 2 weeks later, I received a call from Trevor, to let me know my package was found! If he went above and beyond for me, I can only imagine how much of a help he is there for the residences and staff.
In today's world that was an amazing thing he day for me and I am very grateful. Trevor is truly a blessing, honest man of his word and an asset to 200 Fountain Street.

“I've lived at The Novella for about 4 months, and it's been awesome! First off, the location is great – right near downtown, surrounded by many great places to eat. Whether I'm in the mood for something fancy or just a quick bite, everything's just a walk away. The apartment itself is super cozy and just nice to be in with thoughtfully designed rooms. For me, the best part is the apartment management team. From leasing to maintenance, every interaction has been a pleasure. The staff are not only professional but also genuinely caring.”

“I can’t say enough good things about Elm City Management. My wife and I have had the pleasure of renting from Diane and Ray for A little over 4 years and in that time they have been nothing short of accommodating and prompt in all situations. I was always proud to bring people to my shop because of the way the grounds were meticulously cared for. From the parking lot being cleaned by a sweeper , or the removing of a dead tree and planting new, no detail was ever overlooked. They also hung natural pine Christmas wreaths throughout the property every December which was always a nice touch. Diane and Ray are examples of what landlords should be! You are truly in good hands if renting from Elm City!”
“A pretty decent building with large, affordable loft apartments. Kind of labyrinthine layout and the fixtures are cheap and outdated. Friendly, safe vibe. Smoking allowed in the units so you will smell smoke in the hallway.”

“Met Lauren to discuss plans on moving down to Milford in 6-8 months. She gave us a tour, explained everything about the community. This is a hard decision to move after 70 years, but we know it's necessary as we get older, plus we both like the shore, and the area. She was very helpful and pleasant.
