“During our first visit to Strega for our anniversary, the high-quality food clearly stood out, making it evident why reservations are a must. The culinary experience, especially the bread on both the focaccia and the pizza, was truly remarkable—some of the best I've ever enjoyed. The pizza portions were satisfying, although some dishes, like the salad, were smaller than expected for the price, yet still of good quality. However, our special occasion went unrecognized despite noting it in our reservation, a detail that was disappointing. While not expecting free items, a simple acknowledgment or special welcome would have been appreciated, considering the restaurant prompts for the occasion of the visit. The ambiance, though dark and potentially romantic, was compromised by the noise level. Despite having a corner spot, the sound from surrounding tables and a large group nearby made it challenging to enjoy a quiet conversation. This aspect might be something to consider for those seeking a more intimate dining experience. While Strega offers an exceptional dining experience with outstanding food that alone merits a return, the atmosphere and service in regard to special occasions could be improved. Knowing what to expect, I would recommend Strega to food enthusiasts with a note on the lively environment. For future visits, I'll adjust my expectations, particularly regarding the ambiance and special acknowledgments, for an even better experience.”

“This is THE Costco of Asian food products! I used to shop at H-mart when I lived in New York, and compared to this store, it's the equivalent of shopping at a deli versus Whole Foods! Each aisle is clearly marked in both English and Mandarin. The seafood and vegetables are fresh. They also sell other items like rice cookers, colanders, pots, pans, bamboo steamers, etc. I can't say how thrilled I was to find this store. As for service, don't expect a friendly face.”

“Close to Aldi's so I can get most of my groceries from both stores. Big Y has more variety and somewhat decent prices. It also conveniently has a gas station and a free tire air pump.”

“The Name is deceiving, at first I thought it was a dollar store I loaded up cart after cart seeing tremendous savings, when I got to the register it rang up at thousands of dollars, I said how can this be? This slinky lookin short, shifty eyed man they call "The General" came out from under the counter he demanded I pay the tally, he also demanded cash! I ran outside fearing for my life and who was waiting for me? Bo, in a 69 Orange dodge charger.”

“Quick question for you Since Governor Lamont was seen at a restaurant in Stamford not wearing a mask and not practicing Social Distancing, I'm wondering how you can constitute asking your customers and associates to wear masks?”

“I love this ShopRite! We live in 20 minutes away and drive here for our bi-weekly food shopping! That is for a few reasons: it's always clean, fully stocked and the staff is friendly and helpful! They always have lots of registers open and parking is never an issue! It's also a plus that there a large liquor store in the same shopping center, besides other stores so it's very convenient!”

“Been going to these guys for over two years as I live in the local area. All employees are very nice and welcoming. Prices are very much adequate for a convenience store. ATM is available for a reasonable fee. Some snacks are available for $1 a piece if you look around and others are at reasonable prices. Basic goods, medications, and groceries are also at reasonable prices. Cold drinks can be on the expensive side, however, decent hot coffee is always $1 any size, additives included. For those 21 and over, tobacco and alcohol products are at very good prices for the area. If you ain’t buying a lot, I’d suggest you have cash on hand as their card reader charges you a 60 cent fee if you spend less than $5. In conclusion, I would highly recommend this little food store to out-of-town visitors and locals alike.”

“This location is clean, organized and has plenty of parking. They seem to be very short staffed, and the inventory was sparse. It was almost impossible to find someone to locate certain seasonings. The deli department was the only area fully staffed. You are on your own for check out, and the software needs to be streamlined. They make it as difficult as possible to find fresh produce and certain individual items on their computer screen. There was only one person available to assist all the customers trying to check out. That employee would definitely benefit from some additional training.”

“I want to thank Stollo's Towing Service for the excellent serivce. Easton took care of my daughter who was in an accident this past weekend, and from the time of his arrival through to handling the insurance claim, his customer service, along with compassion for the anxiety in which my daughter was dealing with, went above and beyond what I had expected. Today with my follow up call, as I live in NH, was treated with respect, compassion and professional. Thank you Easton for your exceptional & spectacular professional service!”

“After walking by the Cinnabon shop, the wafting aroma enticed us to turn around and check it out. While it is not the healthiest choice, the holiday spirit inspired us to share a Cinnabon. It was gooey sweet and melt in your mouth delicious. There is something about warm cinnamon pastry that is very comforting. Hopefully, it won't find its way to our hips.”

“Couldn’t find ice packs for coolers, guess it’s an odd request. Trail mix limited and dried fruit is just processed packaged goods. Deli, soups, salads, cakes all fresh though. Not bad if you need SOME things considering you can’t find everything you may need here”

““The Matrix Is Everywhere.”-Morpheus, The Matrix. (1999)Stop & Shop is a regional chain of supermarkets that operate in the northeastern United States. They have over 400 stores located in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts. The Stop & Shop located at 855 Bridgeport Ave. in Milford, CT is one of those stores. This Stop & Shop offers a variety of food choices at competitive prices. In particular, there is a brand of strawberry frosted cupcakes that my wife really likes, but they sell much more than just strawberry frosted cupcakes. Overall I would say that Stop & Shop offers the equivalent grocery shopping experience you would find at the other major grocery stores in the area such as Big Y and Shop Rite. But that’s not what I’m here to write a review about…My purpose is to write a satirical opinion of the robotic abomination known as Marty. Please be seated. The Blue Pill:Marty is an autonomous robot that is employed by Stop & Shop to report spills, debris and other hazards so customers may enjoy a clean and safe space to shop for groceries.Using its imaging technology, Marty can also detect product availability and notify store associates when an item needs to be re-stocked or is misplaced. This helps customers have aesthetically pleasing choices when shopping and do not have to be inconvenienced with items that are not in their assigned places. This also allows the store associates to spend more time with the customers to ensure an outstanding shopping experience. The Red Pill:Marty could be one of many robotic machines created by an architect that may be able to manipulate people into believing that a utopian grocery shopping experience exists.Although the origins of Marty is known, its ancient predecessors may have been a more sinister collection of machines that were instrumental in the last large extinction event here on Earth and led to the destruction of the natural grocery shopping environment. Marty’s predecessors may also have been who actually built the pyramids.Although Marty seems to be programmed to learn from its environment and adapt to changing situations, there may also be a possibility that Marty is controlled by an architect to maintain the mirage of a grocery shopping experience and deal with any anomalies that may arise, such as satirical Google review writers. The choice is yours:Take the blue pill and enjoy the delicious strawberry frosted cupcakes.Take the red pill and come to understand what may be happening outside the illusion that Marty helps control.Morpheus; if you’re out there, please help us free our minds.”
