“I had a flat tire when I came out of the service plaza and called the On Road breakdown assistance # for Swift. They called the closest Goodyear. Ezra called me to make sure I was where he was dispatched to. He made a joke about about how he better know where the place is or he shouldn’t be doing this job lol. I knew he was going to be a great service technician just by that comment!
Anyway, Ezra showed up. I told him the tire looked great. He inspected the tire and said yeah the tire looks great but he removed the tire and inspected it anyways. Then he put the tire back on, aired it up and found that the root of the problem was the central tire inflation system hose was missing a seal. He removed the hose which doesn’t work properly if that seal is missing or damaged. The tire held air ??
He was fast, courteous, professional, friendly, and fun to be around. If I ever have a tire issue and I’m in the area, I hope he’s the one that is dispatched to my location. He was so cool, I gave him my last Florida grown watermelon ?
