“My family and I have been going to the Little Store for years. I figured it was about time I write a review. I adore this place. Walking up to it from my home is such a pleasant thing to do. We have been going to enjoy grinders and goodies, sitting out at a picnic table with friends since my son was a little boy. My Mom and Nellie so loved the stroll up to Linda's and relaxing outside. Best potato salad I have ever had, delicious Veggie sandwich (made just to my liking), one of my favorite ice cream sandwiches, a nice lady behind the counter, a good cup of coffee and the Saturday paper, life is great. Please do not retire. It would be a sad day. Thank you for your kindness.”
“The owner is always polite and respectful. I live around the area and the store is very convenient for my family and I when we need something. He has very good Italian Ice as well as a great selection of groceries. Come and check the store out!”

“This is a clean, organized, well run convenience store with a deli inside. The owner-operator is literally the nicest guy you can meet, and he buys all the ingredients fresh for his sandwiches, and he makes them for you. The prices are beyond reasonable, the prices would have even been pretty cheap pre-pandemic. He never skimps on anything and everything I ever got there was delicious. I still try and go if I am having breakfast or lunch in the area because I love giving that dude my money, he deserves it. It's the kind fo a business where you love it, and it loves you back.
I generally get a bacon egg and cheese, double bacon, on a hard roll, with salt, pepper, and mayo. He puts like four times as much bacon as Dunkin across the way and charges you less. He gives you a really good amount of egg and cheese already (at some places to get the ratio I like I also have to order extra cheese and extra egg... but not here. My man does you so solid.)
I really cannot recommend this place enough. It's just genuinely phenomenal, and it's never busy, and the dude that runs it is always glad to see you. 11/10.”

“When our crew from Manny Roofing was working in Waterbury, we were looking for a place to grab lunch, and South Main Deli came through in a big way. This Spanish restaurant offers a fantastic buffet-style spread, and I decided to place an order for the team.
The ladies at South Main Deli were amazing—so helpful in packing a variety of dishes and even tailoring the order to include different combinations so the guys could pick what they liked. From savory meats to flavorful rice and sides, the food was a hit with everyone, and there was plenty of variety to keep everyone satisfied.
The service was outstanding, and they really took the time to make sure our order was just right. The guys loved the food, and we definitely appreciated the quick and friendly service. “All of my vices these days are found behind glass and under warming lights at gas stations, and Cumberland farms breakfast sandwiches, pizza (where the bbq chicken at??) is my go to.
This one particularly seems to always have what I need when I need it.
And I'd rather have Cumby's than Dunkin coffee any single day of the year, ever.

“The prices were very reasonable. They had a myriad of snacks and drinks to choose from. They sell cigars here. As well as artsy fancy blown glass bongs. It's a gas station with an easy in and out location at a prime intersection heading for I-84 East & West They also sell Lotto tickets here.**COVID-19 plexiglass barriers are still installed at the check out counter as well.”
