“For a small market they’re take out meals are amazing. The meat is superior and today my New York strip has green beans instead of potatoes. And the beer can chicken thighs absolutely delicious. My diet is so limited because of LYme it’s meat fruit and veges and you’ve got that to go. Did I mention I love you guys.”

“MUFFINS. MUFFINS. MUFFINS!!! Ya'll, let me tell you! If you find yourself in or near Colchester, Connecticut please do yourself a favor and stop at Noel's for the BEST MUFFINS you have ever had in your life! And this is no exaggeration, lol! My sister works nearby and told me that one of her coworkers brought her some muffins to work. She called me after trying one of them and was going on and on about how great they are... I thought to myself, OK how great can a muffin be? But babee, let me tell you! A couple of days ago she surprised me with some of my own - pistachio, blueberry, chocolate chip crumb and cinnamon crumb. Pistachio, blueberry and chocolate chip crumb were delectable! Fresh, moist, buttery, just honestly the best muffins I've ever had! The cinnamon crumb was okay, not bad at all, but probably won't be in my lineup the next time I get muffins. I think the four pack was $5.99. Reasonably priced and worth every bite! Thank you Noel's!!! :)”

“It's a nice place for lunch when you don't want fast food places and have no time to sit down. The prepared food bars are very good here in quality and variety”

“Been shopping there for nearly 20 years. The have a great selection of items and I'm glad they are in town. However, I would suggest anyone to get their receipt at checkout. I bought a watermelon about a week ago that was bad. Mentioned it today and was told " if you have your receipt I could do something". So from now on I'll always ask for my receipt. Like I'd lie about it. Kind of sad.”

“Didn't expect to like this store as I live in the area (not SF don't know how Yelp got that in). But it is clean, has a pleasant barn type look to better fit in the area, has a good variety - more food than expected- and better than The Pit Stop, good prices, but mostly saves me trips to the Center, Tylerville, and Killingworth. It truly is a convenience store for us.”

“Great place! I love the sandwiches here! All are FRESHLY made to order (despite what one review claimed) and the hard rolls used are especially delicious! Good, simple food done right. I've been coming here for years, and make a point of stopping by whenever I'm in the area.”

“Deli, prepared foods, and meat is the best in CRV. Great selection of fresh seafood too. Quite a few frozen vegetarian items carried, for a small grocer. They also sell Albert's fresh baked bread from Deep River. The beef chili & shrimp scampi are awesome!”

“Nice little IGA. I was a little disappointed to see they no longer offer the huge amount of pre-made (in-store) meals that used to have, but there are a few options still available. Great beer selection! Prices are a little more than the large grocery stores, but they just don't have the buying power and sales volume the larger chain supermarkets have. The deli is well stocked. No, they don't have Boar's Head products, and I'm glad. While Boar's Head products are usually excellent, their marketing strategy is such that they won't provide product to smaller stores unless the store agrees to sell only Boar's Head products, which can be very expensive. This store bakes their own turkey breast, which is VERY good!Good meat and chicken selection. They offer premium cuts as well as the basics.Produce selection was nice, looked good, fresh, and I haven't had a problem finding anything I needed.Overall a surprisingly large offering of food from a small neighborhood market. No, it's not a box store, and you might not find some specialty items, but let's get real-they can't offer everything. They do offer enough such that I needn't drive to another town to do all of my shopping. Also, the sales here keep your overall bill low if you shop the sales.”

“If you are looking to save money you can find some known products by brand name reasonably but the only thing that was strange that you posted that there is no mask required in Dollar General or Dollar Tree on the web but signs on the door say you need to wear a mask which I would recommend anyways everybody is always very helpful there also”

“Friendly staff, clean, and decent selection... for CT. It's an older store, but the best I've found in this area for a general grocery. They also have a can return right there, which is convenient.”

“So yesterday, I did some grocery shopping for my mom who is homebound and unable to drive due to recent surgery. She needed something from the pharmacy, which they didn’t have. So they offered to special order it for her as an alternative. We were so happy they did that for us. Thank you colchester stop and shop!”
