Big Y World Class Market in Naugatuck is a large, beautiful, and clean supermarket serving as a trusted local destination for all grocery needs. The store is well-stocked and offers a wide selection, including excellent produce, meats, fish, and a bakery. Many customers find the prices to be good and competitive, with regular discounts and a rewards card program to help with savings.
Customer service receives mixed feedback. Many employees are noted as friendly, helpful, and fantastic, with specific instances of staff going the extra mile to assist shoppers. However, some reviews suggest that not all employees are consistently motivated or willing to help outside their immediate area. The store is commended for its sustainable efforts, such as supporting local farmers and implementing energy-saving features.
While the physical store and product quality are highly rated, some customers express frustration with the digital savings system, finding the personalized offers and coupons to be unhelpful and not reflective of their shopping history. Despite this, it remains a popular choice for weekly grocery shopping in the community.
