Don't go to the hot bar. It's a guessing game as to what is in each tray. The sign says one thing, but it is not what is in each tray. If I wanted to try my luck I would go to the casino and probably have better results

Today I want to the pre made section in order an eggplant rotini and some egg salad....The egg salad tasted so off. I had to throw the whole thing out.I was afraid to get food poisoning.And the eggplant rotini was okay but for some reason thir ricotta tasted like uncooked pizza dough...Idk who's making this food now..but boyyyy, it feel way off....smh....throwing away money over here and still hungry🙄

I love this Big Y. I started going here because it had the best prices for my meds. I found the staff at the pharmacy amazingly nice you might even say Happy and helpful as well. The prices on the wings and chop meat this week can't be better and the staff at the register was equally as pleasant. Highly recommend.

I think that Big Y can do better in motivating their employees, while the company certainly has some good employees, sometimes when asking for assistance I don't feel that employees reluctantly offer it, especially if it's not their area of work. Employees should take responsibility and have a sense of pride. I admire sustainable efforts such as waterless urinals ,buying from local farmers and energy etc. The store is clean, stock and has enough staff to ensure a smooth process.
To get the best savings sign up online or speak to an employee about getting your own Big Y card which will give you coupons from the manufacturer and the store like $10 off $50.

Beautiful store and very large just like their prices. They are hurting Ansonia residents by paying rent on their old store to keep other stores to open there. Many low income people w no vehicle are now paying triple the pice for everything because they only have corner stores.

I like the produce, meats and fish, bakery and the costumer service in all the departments. Workers are friendly and helpful. The only problem is that when I log in into the website to get some savings, the My Rewards, My Offers and My Coupons are useless for me because there are products that I never buy. With all the Artificial Intelligence I never get a savings based on my shopping history. I just waste my time looking for savings on the web site. Thanks anyway, I will continue doing my weekly grocery shopping at this place.

Way to expensive! I have work in a seafood restaurant for 6 years and the seafood here is disgusting. It is old product and is not handled properly. Most of the fish has a slimy glaze on it. I wouldn't trust it at all.
Saw the guy making sushi... all the product was above the cooler line to keep it cold while he was making the sushi. Not keeping it at a proper temperature to insure customer safety. The sushi would be questionable to me.

Buy all my meat there. Far superior to other supermarkets. Friendly staff. Clean and well organized store.
