“We have been bringing our dog & cat to Middlebury Animal Hospital for years and would highly recommend to everyone.
Dr. Loeven, the previous owner was amazing to us, and he is of course missed, along with his relief veterinarian, Dr. Shanley, who was also wonderful.
Recently, Dr. Grace Woodrell has taken ownership of the hospital and she has been incredible. She is knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and takes the time to answer my *many* questions.
Every single one of the vet techs are truly amazing and our animals are always so happy to see them. Our dog actually looks forward to his vet visits!
Marianne & Mary at the front desk are also very kind & welcoming. They return calls & emails promptly and always get us a same day appointment when our pets are having issues.
As an anxious pet parent, I feel my animals are in good hands when they come in for an appointment or procedure because all the staff are so reassuring.
Simply the best - love them!”
“This place is absolutely awesome! This is my girls (dogs) new place to stop! Very welcoming, very inviting and husband and wife team are some great people ❤
Customer service 1000%”
“I only take one star off because it is a pricey store. BUT, service wise, I do use their self bathing stations, and their nail trimming services. Very convenient for me and helps me save money by not having to take my dogs for full grooming sessions as often. I visit maybe every other month, so I see different workers each time I go, but each staff member I have met has always been pleasant. When I bring one of my dogs in tow they are always welcoming to my dog and ask if they can offer a treat. As for products, they have some pricey ones, but if you can afford it, they do seem good quality, like their cat condos and other large pet items. Dog toys I've purchased I still have and use. And my dogs love their bakery treats.”
“They do a superb job grooming, never had a clipper burn, ever! My dog went to them his whole life. They met his needs no matter what he had going on esp. as he aged. He loved getting groomed by Little Shop and they loved him. They brought out his regal poodleness.”
“Love getting our chicken feed here. Nice little ride and fun looking around the store. Team is always helpful when you have questions. Great selection of dog food also.”

“Knowledgeable, kind and helpful staff. Large selection of nutritious and healthy pet food and treats. Always accommodating their customers to help them find the right product for their pet at the right price.”
“Great little Mom&Pop pet supply store. Limited inventory due to small size , but what they have is quality stuff. Knowledgeable staff. I was able to get special diet food for my pup. If you're in the area, stop in.”
“The people there were very pleasant and the prices are reasonable. I get all his shots, there, bloodwork stool sample, and his flea tick and heartworm medicine and I think it’s better pricing than the Vet.”
“I was helped by a young lady at the front named Gwen she was extremely helpful, super sweet and understanding! I hope the managers know they have a great employee! 10/10 service!”
