“I’ve been shopping at Mickey Finn's on the Berlin Turnpike for a while now, and it’s always my go-to spot for heavy-duty work boots and outdoor outerwear. They carry an impressive variety of top brands like The North Face, Columbia, and they even stock exclusive gear like BRUNT workwear.The guys working in the bootery are incredibly helpful and really know their stuff. The selection is absolutely massive compared to your standard department stores.My only critique and reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is their strict 14-day return policy. If you are buying gifts or need more time to decide on a fit, it can be a hassle. Otherwise, it’s a solid local business with great inventory. Highly recommend checking them out!”

I was lucky to find this store 2 days before a construction site visit required personnel protection equipment. In footwear this translates to Steel Towed Shoes. With an incredible in stock selection which chain stores don’t offer, I was able to select the perfect pair which fit like they were already broken in.
Selection and service make all the difference . I was lucky to find them and you will be too!”
“Very nice place, and beautiful clothes. I don’t know why people say discrimination happens in this store. I am a Latina American woman and I was never treated poorly in this store. People just need to stop using the “race card” to complain about a store. In fact it is a privilege to have staff follow you and help you choose an outfit that fits your wardrobe not racism. I used to work at a high end clothing store called Talbots and our associates were trained to do the same. We give the customer attention, offer advice when they ask, and set up fitting rooms. This is a practice in most high end clothing stores, so if anything, this is outstanding customer service, which is by far better than the mainstream fashion industry where you are often ignored and over looked as a customer.
It is an honor not and insult.
More stores need to be that way.”
“Praise to the team at Clarks West Farms. Had a little snafu with an online order that customer service was very adamant in their inability to do anything to help me out.
However, upon talking to Sha’Quai (apologies if I spelled that wrong) on the phone at West Farms, they were perfectly willing to do what customer service said they absolutely could not. Shout out to Kian (double sorry if I got that wrong too) for helping me out when I went into the store to sort things out. “I rarely shop at footlocker, today I went with my two teenager daughters and everyone there was so amazing! One of my kids wanted a pair of new balances, Jomar came over and asked if we had any questions, my daughter asked if they had her size and he asked what that was-said she was better off getting the same shoe in the kids size and save $40. He figured out her size, found the shoe and saved me money. The girl at the register was unbelievably sweet too. The whole interaction was great. It was so great that I’m writing a review for footlocker. Mainly Jomar-he was awesome: And I saved $80 between 2 pairs of shoes today. I’ll be back!”

“I'm not a big fan of the Loft, most of their items are not my style, but I'll occasionally walk in. I notice their store is usually set up to feature one specific color, and you'll notice it right at the entrance. They'll have all the new items of that new color, currently various shades of pink displayed on the front table, not to be missed. This is fine, but a variety would also be more eye catching. I've been on the hunt recently for a specific pair of pants, they are from a few seasons ago at the Loft. I've gone to a few stores and I've looked online, and I haven't had much luck. I stopped at the Loft store at Westfarms, I asked the man working there if he could help me find them. He was so helpful, he looked all over the store for me, he talked to the other associates, he did a store search online, he looked in the back room twice, sadly they didn't have the pants. I didn't even ask him to do all this, it was all in his effort and wonderful customer service. And it was a very busy day in the store, yet he was still dedicated in finding these pants for me. I so much appreciate excellent service like this.”

“Going, Going, Gone! is Dick’s Sporting Goods outlet store, and it is definitely worth the drive for the deals. We’ve found some great values here, and it’s the kind of place where you can score really good discounts if you take the time to look around.
Just keep in mind that it is an outlet, so inventory is always changing and selection can fluctuate from visit to visit. That is part of the deal, but if you go in expecting that, it is absolutely worth checking out.”
