Not only did they fit me properly and recommended a new pair of shoes, Chuck and his team even went as far as evaluating my running form out on the sidewalk of Atlantic St. By recording my run and giving me pointers on how to improve. You’d think I was at PT!! Easily the best sport store I’ve ever been too.I will 100% be back and I’m looking forward to their new location!”
“I came in on Saturday looking for cross country trainer and spikes and these two experts Kyle and Michael were able to assist me they first took me back to an in depth scanner that taught me things about my feet that I didn’t know about my feet then they bought me bought me up excellent shoes that were super comfortable and felt great on my feet they got me up on a treadmill and watched me run and it was a great experience and would highly recommended anyone looking for cross country to go to these two gentleman!”

“I can't recommend Threads and Treads enough. I started running again in my late 30s and had tried ordering shoes online. After a few fails, I went in person and the staff were so helpful. They looked at my feet and the arches, the width, my stance, how I walk... and helped direct me to a shoe that would support all these areas. Highly recommend supporting this business so we can keep stores alive that really provide expertise and guidance we will never get through big box stores. “I've taken my son's gloves to Nutmeg for the last number of years to get either restrung, broken in or cleaned up. Mike does an EXCELLENT job at breaking his new gloves in and love dealing with Nutmeg. We stopped by late yesterday to get a new infielder's glove broken in and Mike helped us pick out an Outfielder's glove as well from their wide selection of options in the store. We are heading to Cary, NC on Monday for the USA National 16U Tournament and needed both gloves broken in before we leave. Mike says, no problem and will get it done for us. Highly recommend this local store for anyone that plays baseball at a high level, you will receive a high level of service from Nutmeg Sporting Goods......”

“John and Bruce Park Sports & Embroidery was a GREAT find! I was looking for a quick turnaround of some custom embroidery for just 4 hats. I was having trouble finding someone who could do it and was thinking it just couldn't get done. But then I found Bruce Park through a Google search and spoke to John on the phone. He had no minimum and could do it fast. I could not have had a better experience! John was so nice and professional and did a fantastic job! I'm so happy and will definitely use John and his business again! I highly recommend!!”

“I recently visited and loved my purchase! Michael, an amazing associate, helped me out—he was incredibly attentive and made the shopping experience so enjoyable. I ended up getting a black Lululemon set and some shoes thanks to his great recommendations.
However, I had a somewhat awkward experience at checkout. While Michael was communicating with the cashiers about my items, the man at the register (dark hair, kind of looked like Jason Baldoni—LMAO) made an unkind comment, saying something like, “I don’t know why Michael does those weird hand gestures like that.” It felt unnecessary and dismissive.
I want to reiterate that Michael was amazing! His kindness and professionalism stood out. But that comment from the cashier really bothered me. Mocking someone’s mannerisms is unacceptable. Because of that, I can only give 4 stars. I believe everyone deserves respect, plus seeing team work and kindness towards coworkers make the shopping experience better.”
