“Chuck was absolutely a pleasure to work with! His knowledge, genuine care and consideration goes way beyond any customer service experience I’ve had! Originally, I had a wonderful experience at Scouts which led me to purchase a pair of Hokas! But, unfortunately after wearing the shoe twice they left me feeling uncomfortable enough not to wear again. When I called Chuck to explain my situation he was so understanding, and encouraged me to come into the store so we could speak at length. Upon arrival Chuck immediately wanted to make sure I wouldn’t leave until he replaced and found a shoe that met and exceeded my needs, and that they did! “In response to the previous post.... This store is geared toward baseball and softball. They will help you select the right gear for you or your child with a level of experience and expertise that is well worth the slightly higher prices you'll pay over big box stores. We have bought many gloves, bats and apparel here, they guide to the right glove and will break them in for you. I have also had a few gloves restrung there with amazing results. Good gear is an investment, make sure you buy from someone who knows the game and takes the time to learn about the player. For us, it's instant replay.”

“I've taken my son's gloves to Nutmeg for the last number of years to get either restrung, broken in or cleaned up. Mike does an EXCELLENT job at breaking his new gloves in and love dealing with Nutmeg. We stopped by late yesterday to get a new infielder's glove broken in and Mike helped us pick out an Outfielder's glove as well from their wide selection of options in the store. We are heading to Cary, NC on Monday for the USA National 16U Tournament and needed both gloves broken in before we leave. Mike says, no problem and will get it done for us. “I needed several things done on a special Sports Jersey, didn't know where I should go or who I can trust. I searched several tailors, embroiders not knowing if they ever worked on sports jerseys before, after speaking with several on the phone I thought there was no hope in getting what I wanted done correctly, sure they would take it in but I had no confidence once hanging up the phone. Called Bruce Park Sports/Embroidery (Norwalk, CT) spoke on the phone with John about what I wanted to do, was told sure come down and he would take a look at what I needed done. On the drive down I felt confident when speaking with John and knew I was in good hands. Entered the shop, explained my story, was given suggestions, John was very easy to work with, pleasant and extremely knowledgeable. I was given a time frame and the work was done in half the time, with a phone call letting me know I can come down when ever I like. My work was better than I ever expected, I noticed other projects that they were working on and was truly impressed. I will not hesitate to use Bruce Park Sports/Embroidery again and would recommend them to anyone who needs embroidery, silk screening or any kind of uniform work.
