“I had such a positive experience at Winslow Park Veterinary Hospital. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and genuinely cared for.I especially want to recognize Carmen and Amanda at the front desk, as well as the veterinary technicians and the entire staff. Everyone was kind, patient, professional, and compassionate. They made a very stressful situation with my dog feel a little easier. Dr Ottolini bedside manner was amazing. She took the time to review my dog’s entire history, explain her X-rays in detail, and walk me through what has been going on with her health. After spending so much money over the past few months and going from appointment to appointment without feeling like I had clear answers, I finally felt like someone took the time to listen, explain everything, and help me understand what was happening with my dog.What stood out to me the most was that I never felt like it was about the money. The focus was on my dog, her health, and figuring out what was going on. Dr Ottolini showed genuine compassion and concern, and I left feeling much more informed and at ease.
Nowadays, it can sometimes feel like veterinary care is more focused on the cost than the animal, but that was not my experience here.When your dog is part of your family, having people who understand how much you love and worry about them makes all the difference. “We visited with Dr. Morgan and he is a truly wonderful person. A living breathing encyclopedia of knowledge presented in a very compassionate, open and trusting manner. An extraordinary listener with a confident, calm disposition. While the reason we were there and diagnosis was not what we were hoping for, he nonetheless, made an emotional situation for us more bearable. Dr. Morgan's knowledge and trustworthiness is special.”
“My boy Toby became fatally ill last week, and my neighbor recommended Dr. Mihok, telling me he was incredibly kind and helpful. When I called, he immediately said he could come to my home. He examined my sweet boy and gently gave us the heartbreaking news that it was likely his time. Even then, he offered to bring Toby to the vet’s office for an X-ray, just to be sure. He took our boy in his van and drove him himself. But Dr. Mihok was right—Toby was ready to cross the rainbow bridge, and he passed before reaching the office.
Dr. Mihok personally brought him back to us and explained our options with so much compassion. My husband and I brought Toby to the office for cremation. When Toby was ready to come home, Dr. Mihok called us himself and drove to our house to bring him to our door.
For what is truly the worst experience a pet owner can go through, Dr. Mihok went out of his way to make the process as gentle as possible. He showed genuine care for our boy’s comfort, and you could see in his eyes that his heart broke alongside ours when he handed us Toby’s remains.
I have never met a veterinarian who goes so far above and beyond for the families he serves. Dr. Mihok and everyone at Cross River Veterinary are blessings. I truly don’t know how we would have gotten through this without their guidance and support. May God bless them.”

Was excellent handling our 9 year old shepherd who isn't crazy about vet visits. Did a titre test to see if our dog really needed an update on one her vaccines (She didn't!).”

“Hands down the best veterinary experience I’ve ever had.
I brought my 10 year old pitt bull Petey in for a consult to Dr. Westerfield to see if his skin cancer could be treated with cryotherapy.
Pete had the most comprehensive physical exam of his life from nose to toes (literally).
Petey can be an anxious guy particularly during a physical exam but here he was happily examined for close to an hour (in no small part due to the fabulous techs/assistants who he instantly fell in love with). Everyone there is outstanding. Friendly, kind, smart, experienced and fun. The environment is calm and relaxing.
None of my pets have ever been examined with this level of detail and thoroughness.

“We have been taking our two dogs to VCA Darien for almost two years and they are absolutely amazing. The front desk staff are always a pleasure to talk to, they are organized and easy to get ahold of. The Vet techs are extremely nice and take great care of our two dogs. Dr Kline has been fantastic to deal with, always listens to our concerns and takes great care of our dogs. One of our dogs Max recently passed away and we received a personalized signed card from everyone who worked there which was a very thoughtful thing to do. We whole heartedly recommend this vet.”
“I loved A Cat’s Place. I moved from out of state so finding a new vet was nerve wracking. My cat, Ellie, gets nervous with new people and does not like the carrier, so the vet is always a struggle. Dr. Caldwell gave Ellie so much care during her wellness exam and was very thorough, explaining everything she was doing as she did it. She was easy to talk to and answered all my questions and gave me recommendations I asked for. The vet tech, Lauren, was also amazing. She gave Ellie the same care and made Ellie very calm and comfortable during her exam and vaccines. Ellie usually doesn’t react well to vaccines but she didn’t even flinch. Dr. Caldwell and Lauren made the experience so much easier for her, which made it so much easier for me.”
“The staff is very pleasant and helpful. Dr. Gallardo is very thorough with her examinations and lets you know all options and possible costs associated with each. She truly cares about your pet and listens to all feedback and concerns. I am very happy with the care my pets receive and they try to make it as affordable as possible. I have a medium size mixed breed dog and two cats. My male tuxedo is 13 years old and was recently diagnosed with diabetes. He is getting excellent care.”

“What a wonderful staff! We worked with Dr. Bolton, Sam S. and Daniel, and they were absolutely fantastic. They provided great insight, communicated clearly, and made the entire experience feel calm and reassuring.
Our dog is reactive in a vet setting (a butt head really), and we came in for boosters and a nail trim. They handled everything so smoothly and professionally that I left genuinely speechless and shocked at how quickly they were able to get everything done. It was one of the fastest and least stressful vet visits we’ve ever had with our dog, Murphy.

He was very thorough in her annual exam and explained the process in detail. Much more information than your standard human annual physical! Finding a good vet practice is difficult and I highly recommend Dr. Callahan and the High Ridge practice for other pet owners.”

“Blue Cross animal hospital staff are kind and knowledgeable. The Staff truly goes out of their way to help you in the best possible way.They share information , even try saving you money. It upsets me to see bad reviews from owners who lack accountability. If you choose not to do the basic preventative measures like spay/neuter your pet then do not blame others when something happens. Had you did what you needed and should have done you wouldn’t be in the situation that you are. Please people do better for your pets if they are truly apart of your family.”

“Chloe is very uncomfortable around strangers and even after repeated visits from some people, like our house cleaners, she still barks at them.
When your technician came out to get her, she crawled under the bench I was sitting on, but went with the tech without a bark or whimper.
The blood work report I got from Chloe's vet was exceptional. Clear, readable and informative. I wish my doctors would write that kind of evaluation for me.
Overall, a great experience for both me and Chloe.”
