“Very small and packed. Prices on some items were ok, others were a bit high. Good to visit to pick up essentials. Not really a place to walk around and Shop. Recommended.”
“I just have to say, it's extremely clean and museum-like. The meat section looked light a high-end display. Everything is very very good. They make their own pizza and calzones that would rival many restaurants. They have the Big Y app on your phone that allows you to scan items on your phone, then SKIP the line at check out by just scanning a QR code on your way out. The only oddity is that the carriages are to the right of the entrance. You literally have to croos the exit to get a carriage, then cross the exit traffic to get into the store. A very very bad design. I try to get a carriage from the lot to eliminate that. Love the place and glad it's part of our community.”

“Aldi in Waterford is consistently a 5 star experience for me! The store is always clean, organized & well stocked. The pricing is much more competitive than most of the surrounding stores (sans Walmart). Best of all, the employees are very helpful. They go above & beyond whenever I’ve asked for assistance or needed to borrow a quarter. I love the new addition of self check out. Makes my quick grocery runs even quicker. I’m glad they still offer a traditional check-out line for the elderly/those who can’t use self check-out.”
“Prices are really high. But the atmosphere is amazing. You walk in and can't help but smile between the staff and the smell. When I can't find what I need at the regular stores, most likely, Fiddleheads has it.
They have homeopathic, natural, vegan, options for things and cater to a variety of allergy needs. They also work with local farmers bringing in pesticide free produce, raw milk, local cheeses, as well as natural household items such as unbleached toilet paper and papertowel, biodegradable/disposable utensils, as well as chemical free dryer sheets and soaps.”
“This place has great prices for a smaller grocery store. Easy in and out and your purchases can go towards gas points. They also have people that work there with a great sense of humor ?”
“Very nice, wide and varied stores, nowadays it is not very busy and many stores have already closed but those that still remain try to attract the public with their prices.”
“Very nice newer store located in its own area. If I had one complaint it would be when you are coming from the west and need to make a left turn into the drive area to the parking lot. There is no turn signal and you are on a single lane road. A plus it's that there is a spacious parking area. Staff were nice, and greeted us when we came in. Store was well stocked and everything clearly marked as far as pricing.”

“I like that these stores have a variety of different items for sale, but I usually refuse to shop at these stores due to their shopping cart quarter requirement.”
“It's an excellent well stocked market. Easy walk from the harbor. Check their hours before you go. They will drive you back to the harbor with all your packages. Love this place.”
“Awesome store came into there store today for the first time and they owners where so helpful and friendly the store was very clean and organized thank you for the great service”
“I've been coming here for about 5 years and today is the first time someone looked me in the eyes.. smiled and said Hi first. I'm black btw. I come for the food bar. Every other time I walk in here I feel unwelcome. No eye contact or just blaintantly being ignored. I'm convinced only 30% of Hispanics like black people. To the lady who said hi to me today. Thank you. That really made my day”
“I'm really not too sure about the grocery selection of this "Market", but I drive the distance to buy my gas here for THE absolute cheapest, most inexpensive gasoline I've found for miles, especially if purchased with cash.”
“2010-2015 Beautiful and well kept store. Fresh produce and well stocked. Customer service was always nice to me. The recycling has a lot of machines and sometimes jam up.”
“This is a fabulous grocery store, especially if you’re looking for some unusual foods and spices. They cater to all culinary foods. Great and wonderful meat selection. Prices are comparable to every other big grocery store in the area. They just carry some unique items.”
“When we're at our apartment in Connecticut, we always do our grocery shopping at the Groton Submarine Base Commissary. They have everything we need & want or it's next door at the Navy Exchange.”
“This place has decent prices on Exxon gasoline. The printer works at the pump, which is nice. There is a large convenience store here with lots of snack options. It is conveniently located, which comes in handy quite often. The people here seem nice. The place seems clean and in a good state of repair.”
“First of all let me start by saying I’m a white choclate lover !!!!! I usually go to the Dollar General store on Colman Street in New London ct. because they usually have the White chocolate M&Ms which I am a fan of !! Well the other day I went into this location to get my candy and couldn’t find them anywhere ?! So I asked the clerk who always helps me Caroline if they are out ? She dropped what she was doing and looked for them she finally spotted them behind the counter I was one happy customer!! Now Caroline went above and beyond for a customer which makes her AWESOME in my book !! Also the cashier Lauren was so helpful too”

“Every time I go in this place, I get good service, but today was better than normal. I had an issue with my membership card, but customer service was closed. No worries because Jennifer B (employee) was able to help me resolve the issue with no problem. She was friendly, helpful and went above and beyond.”
“My usual spot for couponing.
They are way more friendly than Walmart, and less crowded.

“After visiting the Mystic Aquarium we stopped by. Busy store, full service, everything you could imagine, owner cares, highly recommended! Only privately owned supermarket that can rival the box stores for variety, quality, and pharmacy. From one operator to another, William (Wholesome Farmers Market).”
“Jamie working the self checks in the morning is awesome! He is always pleasant and greets us when we enter the self check area. He is very quick in coming over if we need any help and wishes us a good day when we are leaving.
He's definitely an asset to this company and should be rewarded for his excellent work.”

“wanted to take a moment to write a quick review of this dollar store; it was super clean and the staff could not have been nicer. needed to make a quick run, while heading to the casino, and they had pretty much anything you could think of. BIG SHOUT OUT TO LAURA. she was amazing.”
“Support local Asian businesses! Lee’s Oriental Market is clean and inviting. The products are all high quality, even if the shelves might not be full like other stores. It’s hard to find authentic Chinese/Korean/Asian products in New London County, and this store definitely helps alleviate that issue??”
“Palmer’s catered our rather large party following the 2024 Noank Classic Regatta. The food was delivered on time and, I must say, was excellent. Everything went according to plan and we received very positive reviews from everyone. The staff were very friendly and helpful making our lives easy.”
