“This was such a great find on our road trip that took us through town. Cozy country atmosphere with amazing breakfast food and coffee. The view of the mountains out the windows added to the country setting ambiance. Great little country gift shop as well. Hopefully on another road trip through states passing on through we'll get to come back and enjoy it again.”
“I find Papa's market to be a Winsted gem. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The wide variety of food and other inventory on their shelves is remarkable considering the square footage. The menu of prepared food is excellent and always fresh.”
“Sandisfield may not be a place to shop, but if you're in the area, stop here. There are local goods, and there are lottery tickets and a friendly guy behind the counter! If you're local, there's basics and a bulletin board.”

“WE VISITED HERE ON 1/11/26 & STOPPED TO GET GAS.. THE FIANCE ALSO BOUGHT US HOT COFFEE'S, WHICH WERE GOOD THAT HE MADE HIMSELF FOR US.. XL COFFEE WAS THE BIGGEST CUP OF COFFEE I HAVE EVER HAD! THE INSIDE IS ALWAYS CLEAN, CLEAN RESTROOM AS WELL EVERY TIME WE STOPPED THERE.. GREAT VARIETY OF HOT FOODS TOO.. LIKE PIZZA, HOTDOGS, AND SOUPS! YOU CAN PRACTICALLY FIND EVERYTHING IN THE STORE!”

“Run of the mill gasoline station, but well-placed at a crucial intersection. Allows refueling from folks coming from the Berkshires and such. There is a separate ingress/egress on each frontage at the intersection. Digitized signage for gasoline's prices (three octanes on sale), a tire pump and car vacuum for interior clean-up. On site is a small convenience stores selling foodstuffs, refreshments, and sundries relating to travel (windshield fluid, batteries, etc.).”
“The pharmacist are lovely and seem to genuinely care about their customer’s health. They are always willing to answer any questions customers have about their medications. This is a small pharmacy - please be patient if they are not immediately able to assist you. Remember - they are giving other customers the same level of care that you expect for yourself”

“I have been using CVS in Winsted for many years. Both for pharmacy services as well as shopping, etc. The pharmacy techs, etc. are helpful and accommodating. Today was exceptional and i appreciate how quickly they addressed my insurance issue, filled my prescription, and cashed me out. And I love, love the coupons, Extra Bucks, and sales. YEAH!”

You will NOT find more honest, trustworthy, experienced and fairly priced service for your vehicle anywhere else. I can promise you that. George and his team are the absolute best there is and there is truly no where else I will ever be taking my vehicle while they remain in business. It’s so hard to find good and honest mechanics these days (especially as a woman) and I Couldn’t be more grateful for them!”
