“I find Papa's market to be a Winsted gem. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The wide variety of food and other inventory on their shelves is remarkable considering the square footage. The menu of prepared food is excellent and always fresh.”
“This was such a great find on our road trip that took us through town. Cozy country atmosphere with amazing breakfast food and coffee. The view of the mountains out the windows added to the country setting ambiance. Great little country gift shop as well. Hopefully on another road trip through states passing on through we'll get to come back and enjoy it again.”

You will NOT find more honest, trustworthy, experienced and fairly priced service for your vehicle anywhere else. I can promise you that. George and his team are the absolute best there is and there is truly no where else I will ever be taking my vehicle while they remain in business. It’s so hard to find good and honest mechanics these days (especially as a woman) and I Couldn’t be more grateful for them!”

“Probably the best Cumby's I've been to, mainly because of their great staff. Really convenient location as well if you do a ton of travel up and down 8. Gets a bit busy at times since it has a smaller lot than some other locations, but that's to be expected.”
“I usually don't rate gas stations but this one deserved an honorable mention. Their gas was way cheaper than the one next door to them, a little down the street by a lot. Also, they serve hot food; I can't say much about it because I haven't tried it. I will most likely give the food a try next time I stop by and update this review. The parking lot was average size and it was easy getting in and out.”

The employees/ management at this store are by far the friendliest when it comes to customer service & well...basically everything! This store is also the CLEANEST, brightest, best smelling convenience store with all your quick basic needs in one stop.
Shop here...you won't regret it, it is my new favorite regular stop (I even drive out of the way to go here)”

“This Mobil is conveniently located just off of route 8 in Torrington, Connecticut. The gasoline prices are a little on the high side, but not entirely unreasonable. The area is a little busy, but seems safe. The receipt printed at the pump, which I appreciate. There is a small Patco convenience store with all the usual items you would expect to find. The milk is a little pricey here ($3.49 per gallon). They have diesel fuel here as well. If you need propane and/or kerosene, they have that covered here too. Overall, not a bad place...”

“I been into the Goshen Market a hand full of times and I have to say the new manager there Carol is doing such a great job. “One of the greatest cumbys I have ever been to. First time I ever went there I saw a guy od’d in the parking lot. Fire dept made pretty quick work of reviving him, so that’s a plus. I would imagine the staff( who is always absolutely awesome) is given narcan and taught how to use it for the fact that no matter what time of day or night you go there there is always at least 1 or 2 addicts asking for money in the parking lot. They will come right up and bang on your window quite aggressively at times ( hence why I gave 5 stars) never a dull moment over there. I made conversation with the guy digging thru the trash cans looking for returnables. He states that cumbys is the best in town for digging thru trash cans. Last but not least one of my fondest memories was last June, it was early in the morning I was headed in to grab my morning coffee, also in hopes they had some empanadas on the rack, when I turned the corner and out of nowhere there were like 6 youngsters, prolly between 18 and 25. 4 guys 2 girls and pit bull. These weren’t the regular homeless and addicted folks that are normally out there, don’t get me wrong, they were definitely homeless and addicted but I’m pretty sure they were train hoppers. The pitbull lunged at me my first instinct was to kick the dog, but since I love animals way more than people and could never hurt any animal especially a dog, I just relied on the dogs owner to maybe yank the leash back ( big mistake that was lol) So cutie pie doggo got me pretty good on the ankle. Could have been a lot worse. Dogs owner seemed annoyed that I walked down the sidewalk and didn’t do my part by exiting the sidewalk walking around a couple cars that way avoiding the group and the dog. I mean who am I to walk down a cumbys sidewalk. Other than that, make sure you wear shoes, the needles are few, but they are sharp. This has been my experience at south end Cumberland farms, I guess I could go to the one up east Main Street, But south end is always full of surprises”

“Theyre busy. Seems like everyone in town comes here. I go to stop and shop normally but they couldnt get my medicine for days. They were not only patient and kind with me but they tried really hard to help me and they didn't have to. I got my epipen within an hour of them opening and went the extra mile to work with my insurance. They gave me grace and kindness I didnt expect just to help one person. And not just one person they worked as a team to get me the help I needed immediately with a line building.”

“I have been using this pharmacy for years, through changes in insurance, modifications of prescriptions, changes in payment systems and COVID boosters. Their service has been consistently good. Yes, sometimes there are longish lines, but that is usually at predictable times such as after their lunch break. The people at the pharmacy window have always, always been patient and polite to myself and those ahead of me, and when I have had questions they cannot answer, they have always known exactly who to immediately ask to resolve any issues.”

Pharmacy was closed , izzy turned around Went back in to see the pharmacist who took time out to come and see me . He explained my medication’s to me …👍👍 True professionals.”

“The free air actually worked, just had to get a code from inside. Be sure to adjust your PSI before you put in the code or it will default to the PSI the person before you used. The staff knew how the machine worked and was very helpful.”
