“Lowe's tends to have more in stock than the Home Depot nearby. At least the household things we need. They're very helpful in the store, but we usually do store pickup. Occasionally, we do curbside pickup for heavy items like 10 - 40lb bags of salt for our water softener. Our order is quickly ready for pickup and someone brings it over and loads it into the car within minutes. I would have a hard time doing this on my own, so it's amazing that they provide curbside for heavy and bulky items. At some point I won't even check Home Depot, because they rarely have what I need. In my experience, Lowe's tends to have more options, but they also tend to be a bit pricier.”
“Today I had the pleasure of meeting a great employee in the appliance department, his name is Hollywood.
I have to say he went above and beyond helping us find the correct appliance , also a workbench that wasn't even part of his department.
The knowledge he provided on top of his great attitude and professionalism makes me want to look for him next time I need anything from Home Depot.

“I love this Home Depot, I've never had any issues here (unlike Stamford's location). I will say, the layout in Stamford is better and easier to navigate. However, we were able to find what we needed and were even assisted with help (because climbing on shelves is frowned upon). This location is clean and well stocked and the employees are friendly and helpful.”
“I just moved to a new home and I had to make quite a few purchases, out of which some, inevitably, ended up being returned. The process of either buying or returning was made easy by the employees that I dealt with. I should mention Shane, first of all, because he helped me with both, on various occasions. He's always polite, friendly and helpful. Martin is also worth mentioning, because he, too, assisted me multiple times with questions or with finding items. He's always around, always with a smile and a positive demeanor. And, when something was not his specialty, he didn't hesitate to call for backup. Jerry (or Gerry) is another employee that did make an effort when I looked for a specific product (a specific cabinet hinge); he was patient and courteous. Lastly, and pardon me if the name is misspelled, the girls in the window treatment section, Dharvu or something like that (Indian name) was really awesome, too. I had quite a few questions, so I must have been annoying, but she was a sweetheart through and through. She guided me to the best of her ability, she explained things, and she did everything she could to help me. These employees have stood out for me for these last two weeks and they have made the stress of moving more bearable, because now I know I have someone to go to when things get tricky.”
