“I went into the store for the first time a few weeks ago on a whim and had the nicest experience. Faye greeted me as soon as I came in and helped orient me to where everything was. I let her know I was interested in a new pair of Adidas running sneakers (simply because that’s what I was already wearing). Faye showed me a few pairs of Adidas but also introduced me to a few new brands to help me widen my search and make sure I was getting the best pair for me. I ended up LOVING a pair of Brooks - I never would have even tried them on if Faye hadn’t suggested them - and walked away with them, a pair of Uggs, and inserts.
I’m now writing this review a few weeks later because I’m still so impressed with my experience at Hawley Lane and am still really loving my purchases. The sneakers are so much better than what I had prior; I am so glad I got the guidance I did there. Faye was kind, helpful, and knowledgeable throughout. You could tell she really cares about her customers and getting them in the right shoes. It felt like an old school shopping experience, in the best way! I’ll definitely be going back in the future.”

“Great environment and customer service as well. Anderson was so patient while I was trying to decide whether to get a different color of sandals. I accidentally left my daughter’s Sephora bag at the cashier station, Anderson found it and called me, and left a voicemail about my Sephora bag. I went and ask if they found a Sephora bag and Manager Rafael had the bag and told me that they had left me a voicemail regarding my bag . Thank you for their honesty, what a great place ( we don't see this nowadays).”

“Walked into JD sports next door, which is an extremely unwelcoming environment. I immediately left and came next door, the two stores are like night and day. The staff was very friendly and were eager to help my kids out with their basketball shoes. Would be nice if they had more of a selection, but overall great experience. I will never be shopping at JD sports and will only be bringing my business to Champs next door, also will advise all my friends and peers to do the same.”

Even when they don’t have exactly what I’m looking for he goes out of his way to locate the item and either help me order it or let me know which location has it in stock. Employees and customer service like this are very hard to find these days. From now on whenever I need anything at JD sports or footwear related. My first stop will definitely be the JD sports in Norwalk to see my man DJ”
