“I went into the store for the first time a few weeks ago on a whim and had the nicest experience. Faye greeted me as soon as I came in and helped orient me to where everything was. I let her know I was interested in a new pair of Adidas running sneakers (simply because that’s what I was already wearing). Faye showed me a few pairs of Adidas but also introduced me to a few new brands to help me widen my search and make sure I was getting the best pair for me. I ended up LOVING a pair of Brooks - I never would have even tried them on if Faye hadn’t suggested them - and walked away with them, a pair of Uggs, and inserts. I’m now writing this review a few weeks later because I’m still so impressed with my experience at Hawley Lane and am still really loving my purchases. The sneakers are so much better than what I had prior; I am so glad I got the guidance I did there. Faye was kind, helpful, and knowledgeable throughout. You could tell she really cares about her customers and getting them in the right shoes. It felt like an old school shopping experience, in the best way! I’ll definitely be going back in the future.”

I accidentally left my daughter’s Sephora bag at the cashier station, Anderson found it and called me, and left a voicemail about my Sephora bag. I went and ask if they found a Sephora bag and Manager Rafael had the bag and told me that they had left me a voicemail regarding my bag . Thank you for their honesty, what a great place ( we don't see this nowadays).”

The staff was very friendly and were eager to help my kids out with their basketball shoes. Would be nice if they had more of a selection, but overall great experience. “I usually love shopping at JD Sports because the customer service is normally excellent. Most of the staff are friendly, helpful, and make the experience enjoyable — which is why I keep coming back. However, during my most recent visit (February 14th at about 5 PM) , I had a very disappointing interaction with an employee who told me her name was Tammi and claimed she was the manager. She was extremely rude and unprofessional. I overheard her telling another shopper that she “didn’t want to work with kids,” which was uncomfortable and inappropriate. She repeatedly referred to the younger employees as “kids” in a disrespectful way, which isn’t fair to hardworking staff who are just doing their jobs. When I approached the register, she yelled at me asking whether I was paying with card or cash. Her tone was aggressive and completely unnecessary. A young employee named Chris then stepped in to help me, and he was polite, patient, and professional. While he was assisting me, she began yelling at him about a “sale” in front of customers, which created an awkward and uncomfortable atmosphere. I ended up not buying anything due to the awkward encounter! I also observed inconsistency in how she treated customers. She told one customer she couldn’t hold any sneakers, yet shortly after, she held a pair for another shopper. That lack of fairness was concerning. To make matters worse, when I later spoke to another employee, I was informed that she was not actually the manager, despite her claiming to be. That dishonesty is troubling. I genuinely enjoy shopping here and typically receive the best service when she is not present. I hope management addresses this issue because one negative employee can affect the store’s reputation and potentially cost business. The rest of the team, especially Chris, deserve recognition for their professionalism.”
Last month, Foot Locker Inc. reopened its flagship store at 112 W 34th St. in New York City, as part of new retail plans. The store introduced "Home Court," a basketball-focused shopping area created with Nike and Jordan Brand. The updated store offers a basketball-themed shopping experience. It combines customer service with the newest products for use on and off the court from several brands.
