“Thank you so much Ken for allowing us to visit your store. You showed to be a supervisor who deserves the acknowledgement you deserve. The store looks great and your staff are so happy. Although I may not remember all of the staff's names, I would like to begin with the produce department. Thank you Tim, your work is beyond. But, what I enjoyed the most was seeing you go above and beyond to cut the strawberries for the customer's special order. Mr. Murphy, you show the knowledge and passion for the meat.
I was most likened to see how high end the meat is at Adam's, thank you so much for making our experience fun.
Rose, your paroni salad was made with love, and I really enjoyed the soft seasoning and more natural flavor.
The chef, the kitchen looks great and all of your staff show to be friendly and serving.

“A newly opened halal market. It offers a good alternative for Muslims. The prices can be a bit expensive compared to other halal markets. It is useful to research the products you will buy, but the meat products are very nice.”
“Best Trader Joe's parking lot in Hartford County. I love all the TJs in the area, I'd say they are all comparable. However I will do the extra distance to not deal with an annoying lot, especially around the holidays ?
As for TJ franchise- I *adore* their food, particularly bread, wraps, snacks (all kinds), and their willingness to play around with new ideas and flavors. Favorite food store by a long shot.”
“Perfect Steak Philly. Chili dog amazing. Chicken salad salad worth the every penny. There should be more sandwich shops like this in Connecticut for sure.
And they make breakfast sandwiches apparently. Absolutely a good place to stop for food.”
“I drive there most Sundays for their tuna salad, which is the best around. There’s a huge selection in the Deli and one for meat across the store. The service is always great and they’ll follow you to your car with the cart, then bring it back in so there’s rarely a cart in the parking lot. Class show!”

“I stopped in for the first time today exploring the Newington area. What an absolute find! The place was immaculate completely well-stocked and I didn't see an American product in there at all. Owners are super friendly and prices are reasonable”

“Love their pies! I prefer to buy them frozen and bake them as needed. Either way they're always a hit with the family. Bumbleberry is the fam fav. But all the pies are great; flaky crusts and stuffed with fruit.”
“Not sure how to rate whole food as I have mixed feelings... I generally go to whole foods to get salmon, cod, crab cakes, chicken etc and fresh produce. The prices are a tad bit more than usual. Quality wise these are really better than any other vendors in the market. But when it comes to branded products in any category, you end up paying more for the same brand, same size as compared to walmart. Hence not a five star for from my end.”

“Although it doesn't have the wider selection of bigger stores, ALDI is one of the cheapest local grocery stores and offers good quality for the price. I have been doing most of my weekly grocery shopping here through Instacart pickup (and occasional delivery) for the past 5 years. They have been consistently reliable, accurate, and professional with pickup orders, which makes shopping much easier for me as a disabled person. On the rare occasions I've shopped in store, the clerks have been fast and efficient. My only complaint is that the back entrance driveway from Kitts Lane has potholes you'll want to watch out for.”

“This is a clean, organized, well run convenience store with a deli inside. The owner-operator is literally the nicest guy you can meet, and he buys all the ingredients fresh for his sandwiches, and he makes them for you. The prices are beyond reasonable, the prices would have even been pretty cheap pre-pandemic. He never skimps on anything and everything I ever got there was delicious. I still try and go if I am having breakfast or lunch in the area because I love giving that dude my money, he deserves it. It's the kind fo a business where you love it, and it loves you back.
I generally get a bacon egg and cheese, double bacon, on a hard roll, with salt, pepper, and mayo. He puts like four times as much bacon as Dunkin across the way and charges you less. He gives you a really good amount of egg and cheese already (at some places to get the ratio I like I also have to order extra cheese and extra egg... but not here. My man does you so solid.)
I really cannot recommend this place enough. It's just genuinely phenomenal, and it's never busy, and the dude that runs it is always glad to see you. 11/10.”
“My wife and I drove past DiMauro's market for like the 100th time as we live in Rocky Hill. I said to my wife, we never stop at DiMauro's market. So I turned around and parked in front. How on earth haven't we gone in before? We heard about the Italian olive oil he sells and we just had to get some. But while we were there, we got a whole bunch of other stuff too. Joe was a delight to meet and he gave us both a nice Italian hug too. He is very warm and friendly. FYI he doesn't accept credit cards. Cash only.

“Shop Rite Pharmacists are so wonderful. They answer the phone, answer questions and have an attitude of total helpfulness. They go above and beyond when everyone else cannot even have the scripts filled on time! I feel like this is an escape from the robo driven menu optoons”
