“Went to get a simple car wash from the drive thru car wash to find that it’s been taken over by new owners and is a hand car wash! $25 for exterior (no tip on card). I told the guy I parked under a tree at work and got some weird sap-like substance all over my car and when washing my car he made sure that it was coming off with his power hose and car wash shampoo! Really great service, amazing clean, and you can stay in your car while they wash! Will definitely come back as long as the current people run it.”

“Nelson's work and integrity are five stars and beyond! I brought in a 20-year-old car, in rough shape inside and out and got back a car that looked virtually new. All the seemingly uncleanable surfaces were sparkling, the inside was perfect, and the trunk immaculate.
Beyond that, the front right had been badly scratched and the bumper banged in. For literally 5% of what a body shop would have charged, he banged out the bumper, cleaned up and painted the rust spots and bumper with dealer matched original paint. I couldn't believe the transformation.
Truly amazing. Nelson earns the highest recommendation.”

“Our car was a total disaster. Food spills everywhere, stained fabric seats, cat hair, years of dirt and grime... You get the picture! Luckily for us, Route 77 Detailing is conveniently close to where we live.
We took the car in and after an overnight stay it was return to us in miraculous condition! It literally looked like it just came out of the showroom. I was shocked at how beautiful it looked!

“You guys always do a fabulous job. I am at the car wash 6 days sometimes 7 days a week. But during the week Monday thru Friday the girl that works behind the counter never and I mean never has the air conditioning on. The air conditioning is for the comfort of the customers waiting. I am sitting here right now waiting for my car and it is so hot in here. I have asked her a few times if she can turn the air on a bit and her answer always is “I am cold.” So can you please say something to her. Thank you”

“Top Hat has been my go-to car wash for years, and I don’t think I ever took the time to leave a review. I recently moved out of Connecticut, and honestly, one of the things I miss is this place.
Their trackless car wash always did a great job, but what really set them apart was the interior cleaning service. For around $35 (plus tip because they deserve it), my car would come back looking almost like it had a mini detail. They vacuumed thoroughly, cleaned the windows, and wiped down the interior, all while being efficient and reasonably priced.
The staff was consistently friendly, and I always left feeling like I received great value for the money. Now that I’ve moved, I’m actually searching for a car wash in Westchester that offers a similar level of service, and that’s proving harder than I expected.
If you’re in the Danbury area and want a quality full-service car wash, I highly recommend Top Hat.”

“I've been using the Norwalk location infrequently for years. When doing so I just wanted a single, quick, no-frills wash. The cashier staff are obviously working with some kind of commission/bonus for selling the monthly passes, because they push it hard. You generally have to say 'no' to them 2-3 times before they relent and let you buy a one-off wash. It can get annoying.Then I purchased a white car. What was I thinking? In a month of ownership I've been there twice, so I figured I would try the base-level monthly and see how it goes - I'll update my results with this program here later. One benefit of it seems to be the automated entrance once you have their sticker on your windshield. This place is a madhouse on weekends, with backup traffic lines blocking Route 7 sometimes. Anything to 'cut' the manual line (where the cashiers are busy trying to sell subscriptions) seems like a bonus. I avoid the place like the plague on weekends in any event.Wash wise, it is what it is. A goofy little automated soap blast and rinse. It's not concierge service detailing, nobody hand-dries for you, you just pop into neutral and go. Want to wash mats and vacuum? That's all self-serve in the exit lot.I've never noticed scratches/damage to my car in the years I have been going there. And to all of you other reviewers complaining about the ethnicity of the staff? Screw off, you racists.”

“I have been putting off getting the inside of my car cleaned because I thought it would take too much time and I didn't know where I would wait while it was being done. I finally went to get my husband's car cleaned for his birthday and it was such a pleasent experience! It only took 30 minutes for them to clean the inside and it was super dirty since we have two kids in car seats. There was a lovely space inside for me to sit and get work done while I waited. I will definitely go more often!
