“I have been going to ICS for the past couple of years. The level of service is amazing.Last year I had to get a clutch replaced for which the dealer quoted me over $3k. ICS did the job for a fraction of the price. I have also done suspension, brakes, etc. George was always very helpful and easy to work with.I had some work done just this past week. I couldn't drop off my car so they picked it up and dropped it off when it was done which was super convenient. Similar to prior repairs, I saved a lot of money going there vs. going to the dealer for the same quality of work. “I have been bringing my foreign and domestic cars to Joe and Mario D'Agostino's place for 30+ years and only have great things to say about them. As stated in another review Joe is extremely well-trained and skilled at diagnostics and auto repair. Although they are foremost BMW and Audi experts, they can easily handle any make/model. They love working on Italian cars, btw. Agree that they are a hidden gem for auto repair! They are very, very trustworthy; repair estimates and costs are always very fair, if not under the market. I love these guys and recommend them highly. We own 5 cars and they service all of them (Toyota, Honda (2), Fiat, Subaru...Volvo and Ford in the past). You will not be disappointed. I would give them 6 stars if it were possible!”

“So relieved as to the new, upper control arms on my Audi. After having gotten estimates from others that couldn’t start the repairs until the 2nd Tuesday of the next week, and higher quotes, I happened to have stumbled across his shop, and so grateful now. He gave a reasonable estimate and it was done the next morning. I usually work on my own cars, but for major repairs find myself searching and comparing prices. Search no more folks! “Last week my car was hit by a young inexperienced driver in Manhattan. I have a 2022 Toyota Sienna. The damage was to two doors and a rear element on the gas tank side. I recently moved to live in Greenwich, Connecticut. I did not know who repairs cars here, and who can be trusted. I searched for information on the Internet, and was in two workshops. I chose this particular workshop, I first looked at their work and I liked the quality. And it is not unimportant that these were not expensive prices for services. I admit honestly, I was worried, because I myself treat my business very decently and control the quality as much as possible. They fixed my car in three days. Today I took it, done very well, tinted the rear bumper as a bonus, thanks a lot to Boss and the staff who work in this business.Services: Painting”

“My wife went in a couple of years ago for snow tires, and a general checkout of her car, as our mechanic of many years retired. She had an extremely positive experience- Tony is always direct and honest with us. Always nice, and with a dry sense of humor. I've had several occasions, where thought I've felt or heard issues with the cars- and unlike so many other mechanics, Tony will politely explain the problem (or lack thereof!) and whether or not the vehicle even needs anything. We have both subsequently been to Shippan a number of times, for various amounts of work, including a clutch on my wife's Subaru, and Tony has been consistent with quality of workmanship. No job too big or too small. For me, the most emblematic occurrence of why I will continue to use Shippan's services, was one time, the tire prices weren't a mega value (on the specific tire I wanted), but even though they were not particularly overpriced, Tony still said something along the lines of "I probably can't get the best price on these." I gladly paid the minimal difference from some chain business, where I'd have been dealing with a new person, each time I called. Another huge good sign (at least for me) is beings told that I don't need to get (whatever service) done yet, despite it being lucrative for the business. Just simple integrity-and not treating customers like an annoyance. We look forward to continue having our cars serviced at Shippan! At least as much as one can look forward to servicing vehicles at all. To Tony, and the team at Shippan- Keep up the great work! I highly recommend giving them a try, if you need a new mechanic.”

“Back in April 2023 my car had a radiator leak from work. When I left work in the late evening, I had no antifreeze left in the car and it started to overheat. I was stranded on I95 south by exit 6 for the entire night waiting for a tow-truck to arrive and tow my car to Grand Prix. Finally in the am, a tow- truck arrived and brought to Grand Prix. Roger is very humble and fixed my car within a day. Very satisfied with his work and charged a fair price to do the work. Would definitely go back to him again. Thank you kindly.”
