“I visit the Staples in Middletown, CT quite frequently, so much so that I have come to recognize many of the staff members. Overall, I am consistently greeted warmly, and the majority of the team provides excellent customer service.
Jamey in the print center is always exceptionally helpful and reliable. Jackie is also wonderful—she does everything she can to assist and is quick to seek out additional help when needed. The store manager, Mike, takes the time to help customers with even the smallest questions, which truly shows his commitment to customer care. Shawn in the tech department was especially helpful when assisting me with repairing my grandmother’s computer after it was infected with a virus.
The only negative experience I have had was with an employee named James, whom I do not see often. On that occasion, I asked for assistance and was told—quite abruptly—that he could not help me and was “TSA,” and I was told to go away.
Despite that isolated incident, I highly recommend this Staples location to friends, family, and business associates due to the consistently friendly and knowledgeable staff.”

The staff helped me get a new printout for my reunion, but this time I also requested aid in sending my file to another FedEx center so another relative could also print a copy. Gayle Ann went over and above to communicate with the NY office to assist in making a perfect duplicate. I had great help from two staff who got me started also. Thanks so much!!’”

The outstanding service started even before I arrived: when I called the store, Amanda proactively gave me her name, ensuring that I knew exactly who to ask for to receive personalized help. When I arrived, she followed through with incredible dedication.
I needed to ship a large, artificial Christmas tree from Connecticut all the way to Alabama for my son's former special needs class. This was a complex and potentially costly task, but Amanda treated the shipment with incredible care. She meticulously researched every option, ensuring we found the easiest and most cost-effective solution to get the tree to the students.
Her kindness, patience, and commitment to making this process seamless were truly remarkable. Amanda is not just doing her job; she is a genuinely nice and caring person who makes a positive difference. She deserves the highest praise. Thank you, Amanda, for helping make the holidays brighter for a classroom full of exceptional students!”
“We had to return a pair of shoes to a store in Indiana. The store originally sent them to us in a plastic bag that was taped to fit the size of the shoebox. There was no easy way to open the bag and, after cutting it open, getting the shoebox back in there didn’t allow any overlap to seal the bag properly (or so we thought). I went to this FedEx location in order to buy a box that we could use with the return FedEx label that was provided by the store. The nice gentleman at FedEx told me that he could take care of shipping just by taping together the remains of the plastic bag and affixing my label - which he did with a boatload of his tape. He could have sold me a box, but instead I paid him nothing. Fantastic customer service!”

“Amani to the rescue! Staples was busy, so I decided to call the local FedEx which is only a couple of miles from my house. I thought they only did shipping, but gambled and called. I need two copies of my resume rather quickly for an interview. Amani told me to come on in and she would have the printer ready. She guided me through the process. She reviewed the print job before I did and wasn’t satisfied, so she reprinted and the quality was spectacular. Additionally, FedEx doesn’t charge the extra fees that Staples does when you go to the counter for a print. Staples is such a racket. Now knowing that I have FedEx close to home and have treasures like Amani working there, all of my printing will be done with FedEx!”

The gentlemen working recognized that we were not super familiar with postage and kindly taped our package (while noting that it did need to be taped), helped us figure out the zip code to an address we were given the incorrect zip code to, and gave us the address of the nearest UPS for a return we needed to make through them. We were very thankful for his patience and assistance.”
“Our postmaster, Temple, is just the best! Mail often gets screwed up here-either companies put our street address or send it to the East Hampton zip code which takes it to the East Hampton post office instead. He has taken the time to make a list of all of our addresses/post boxes & really goes out of his way to ensure we always get our mail promptly in an area without mailboxes. Always helpful, always friendly, he goes the extra mile when others don’t. He even decorates our little post office with his own decorations for holidays & events, creating a really warm neighborhood vibe. We have been through 4 postmasters at this location in my 4 years here & I have liked them all, but I really hope Temple sticks around!”

“11/29/25 We walked into get passport for our 3 children. Asia greeted us very kindly and delivered speedy service. She walked us through the process and was very knowledgeable. My wife and I felt very welcomed and at ease with the whole process start to finish. Asia processed our paperwork quickly and accurately. Manuel patiently took our kids pictures even though some of the kids were wiggly. Top notch service. We are very pleased. A staff member came out and gave our kids activity books, stickers, and crayons to our kids. Very accommodating. Extremely professional and efficient! Thank you and Great Job Asia!”
