“We initially thought we wouldn’t find a lot here after reading the reviews saying they didn’t have a lot of middle sides. That’s sort of true. If you are tall, you’re in for a field day. However, there is plenty to be had as you can see by our carts. We bought bathmats, shoes, coats, duffle bags, sweaters, and shirts. There is a lot more here such as bed linens, towels, and bags. Applied for their card and got an additional discount. We probably had roughly $3500 in merchandise that we paid $1200 for.”

“Kohls in Waterbury has excellent customer service. Their associate are friendly & knowledgeable. I wish people would learn from the associate named Marie. She's a sweetheart ? she's kind & takes the time to listen to the customer. She's a reflection of impeccable customer service!!! She also goes out her way to greet customers even when she's busy checking out the people in front of her. Oh, I can't forget the associate at the Sephora station. I don't know her name, but I tell you...she was friendly & a great SALES PERSON!!!”
“This is the place to get your dance supplies, they've got it all! From shoes, tights, leotards, skirts, underthings, bags, hair stuff....they've got it ....or will order it for you. They've helped us find and fit ballet shoes, jazz shoes, character shoes and pointe shoes. There is always a cheerful, helpful staff member to help and all of the ones we've worked with are dancers, so can offer their opinions and experience. We depend on this place, and make a quarterly trip to restock and replace all the dance things!”

“Great store, great energy. The owner was very welcoming and worked with me. I also liked that they bought and traded used shoes. I plan on coming in today with the hopes of a trade in as it is my girlfriends birthday and i know unknown is one of the only stores that help accommodate me. Brining in some lightly used great condition Jordan 5 top 3s and some others. Just looking for some nice kicks and shirt on the trade in to impress my girlfriend as she said I need to switch my style up and she keeps seeing me in the same shoes lol.. so I’m coming today !”

“I've always loved Bob's stores since I found them in Danbury. Haven't been in a Bob's since Danbury closed a few years ago. Now that I'm working in the Waterbury area they are all over the place. Went in just to browse for a few minutes, didn't buy anything today. Lots of great deals going on between clearance and other promotions. They also have their loyalty program which earns your money back. The store itself is a little dated, but still a pleasant experience.”

Yesterday my daughter and I went to the mall for HOP TOPIC. So first, LOVE Hot Topics clearance: buy two get two free & 30% off, etc. etc. So of course we took advantage of the buy two get two free , as we approach the cash register, Emily was attentive and very kind as she started to service us . During this transaction. My daughter and I started discussing her “gaming/ streaming“ stuff that personally I have no idea what she does. It’s over my head as the old lady that I am. Anyways, my daughter mentioned a character and seemed disappointed that she couldn’t find. Emily to the rescue, chimed in and stated that they do indeed have this character in a T-shirt. My daughter perked up like she had just won the lottery , so thrilled that Emily showed her this item. Emily and Diego chatted my daughter regarding her gaming and streaming gig on TWITCH. All three were basically talking foreign to me, but my daughter, who is normally an introvert showed the social skills of an ‘MC’ for a show. Anyways, I inquired about honoring military ID and Emily and Diego spoke up singularly with an “absolutely“!
The minimal transaction that we experienced with Emily and Diego may seem moot to others as where they both were “just doing their job”.
In this case, that is not true, Emily proceeded to tell me that on every item, a military discount was entered. (which I love because I’m a total “frugal Franny”) and the interaction we all experienced was the upmost joyful experience..( Emily displayed knowledge of the inventory in the store, which ended up as an additional item that we purchased. The kindness and respect she showed my daughter and I was an action that one doesn’t normally see in young adults( i’m referring to employees that disrespect their elders with a short, sharp tongue or that general eye roll and /or minimal interaction with a customer) . I know I’m babbling on, but I just wanted to commend these two employees (Emily and Diego) for doing a wonderful job of making MALL shopping a pleasant experience. They both get 10/10 from us.

I tried on so many pairs of jeans but her and another store associate, Adrian I think her name was..? were both super helpful, kind and patient with me! Wendy was able to match most of the clothes prices that were on sale on their website which was a plus and I was able to purchase everything I needed. “When my boss found out that I have always wanted a pair of high quality cowboy boots, she suggested Boot Barn. I have visited two in my state, and the Plainville store is by far my favorite! They have an amazing selection of boots, hats, belts, and clothes. I don't want to think about the amount of money I've spent here - lol - but it's been worth every penny! Their rewards program is excellent and the sales are great. My husband was thrilled when we came here and he found a decent selection of boots in his size, as he is a size 13 and many stores that we have been to rarely have more than a couple pairs available. The staff here is super friendly. They always greet you with a smile and are happy to answer any questions. My husband and I come here at least once a month, even just to browse. Highly recommend!”
