They are like flawless, highest quality luxurious textiles, equally GREAT for everyday wear and special occasions. At Ramani’s, they take the time to sit down with you and figure out every detail of the process- Fabric swatches, the precise fit you want, design options, etc. CRAFTSMANSHIP at the highest level. Steve listens carefully to your preferences, makes recommendations, and then your visions they become reality. Every small detail of each suit commands attention: carefully structured shoulders, hand made button holes, pick stitching, clean lines. “Kohls in Waterbury has excellent customer service. Their associate are friendly & knowledgeable. I wish people would learn from the associate named Marie. She's a sweetheart ? she's kind & takes the time to listen to the customer. She's a reflection of impeccable customer service!!! She also goes out her way to greet customers even when she's busy checking out the people in front of her. Oh, I can't forget the associate at the Sephora station. I don't know her name, but I tell you...she was friendly & a great SALES PERSON!!!”
“I’ve been shopping at Mickey Finn's on the Berlin Turnpike for a while now, and it’s always my go-to spot for heavy-duty work boots and outdoor outerwear. They carry an impressive variety of top brands like The North Face, Columbia, and they even stock exclusive gear like BRUNT workwear.The guys working in the bootery are incredibly helpful and really know their stuff. The selection is absolutely massive compared to your standard department stores.My only critique and reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is their strict 14-day return policy. If you are buying gifts or need more time to decide on a fit, it can be a hassle. Otherwise, it’s a solid local business with great inventory. Highly recommend checking them out!”
“I am typically in the store for Amazon returns, which is a quick in and out. They are known for their coupons. You never walk out without one. Some of those coupons maje for a great deal. But, this is no discount outlet. Most items are a bit pricey, but when you apply the coupons, you can find some great deals. The true gem is the Clearance section all the way in the back of the store. Can get some great gifts ideas for up to 80% off at times!”
“I would absolutely recommend Harry Israel to anyone!! I was a bridesmaid for the first time at a family member’s wedding (4/11/2025) and had a custom-ordered dress. The measurements on the straps were way off. Tide Cleaners had recommended us to Nate. What a wonderful experience! We called him on a whim to check his availability, and he told us we could stop by in 10 minutes. He was so kind, so passionate about his craft, and incredibly detail-oriented. We were worried about having to purchase a steamer for my dress, as well as for another bridesmaid. He offered to do both dresses in-house and the result was perfect. Another family member stopped by to buy one of his button-up long-sleeved shirts for the same wedding. It has become a staple piece for important and monumental celebratory events. This is a completely underrated business that needs to be supported! I will be visiting again.”
“I love shopping at this Kohl's store! Friendly workers, who are helpful and not pushy. The store is always clean and tidy, and you can always find a good deal. My favorite times are when things are on sale that I didn't know were on sale? not to mention the earning of KOHL'S CASH is always awesome!!! (That you can use on anything in the store) The only thing that stinks about the Kohl's cash, is that you can't use it right away,..it can only be redeemed between certain dates which can sometimes be an inconvenience if you're not able to get to the store during the specified times , you then loose the Kohl's cash that you earned.. In my opinion; I think they should give you a gift certificate/ store card( without expiration ) that you could build up over time, and be able to redeem it at your convenience. Other than that, love it!”
“Unbelievable customer service at the Meriden Store. Walked in and saw a sign that said drop offs and pick ups only. But, walked in to double check and Charles came out and said he’d offer his services to help me get fitted for a wedding. Will definitely be doing business here in the future if needed.”
“Manager was really nice helping me get the measurements for my sons suit but I wish I didn't have to go back and forth between stores just to get it done. Both stores had the measuring tape but it felt like a hassle to just get measurements until the manager was called and it was done properly”

“I went to Kohl in Wallingford to get my dad a Father's Day gift today. I'm a partially disabled air force veteran, and it's hard for me to get around. I ran into a wonderful woman name tantiana, I probably did not spell it right, but hopefully she's the only one there with that name, I just want to say thank you. Publicly, she really cared, she was so helpful. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it or help. And she deserves to have all the kudos and recognition in the world out of been very tough for me to get around without her today. “Lots to coordinate as we had 10+ tuxes for groomsmen all over the country. There were a few inconsistencies across the buttons and jacket styles early on. We called Jake and emphasized the importance of the remaining tuxes to be exactly correct upon pickup.
Jake took ownership of this and was prepared when we walked in already having double checked something.
Wyatt helped us address a stitch issue in minutes and we were on our way. This business isn’t easy and these two gentlemen stood out above my past experiences at different men’s warehouse locations.

“I had such a great experience for my first time shopping at AE! I first met with the store manager, Wendy and she directed me to a few great options of clothing I was looking for. I tried on so many pairs of jeans but her and another store associate, Adrian I think her name was..? were both super helpful, kind and patient with me! Wendy was able to match most of the clothes prices that were on sale on their website which was a plus and I was able to purchase everything I needed. Thank you again and I will definitely be doing a lot of my future clothing shopping with AE. ?”
“The gentleman that helped me with finding the right size boot was amazing. I thought my boot size matched my shoe size of 10.5. Turns out i wear a 9.5 wide boot! The gentleman was VERY knowledgeable, pleasant, and passionate about what he does. Already returned with my kids to get them a pair as well!”

“I rarely shop at footlocker, today I went with my two teenager daughters and everyone there was so amazing! One of my kids wanted a pair of new balances, Jomar came over and asked if we had any questions, my daughter asked if they had her size and he asked what that was-said she was better off getting the same shoe in the kids size and save $40. He figured out her size, found the shoe and saved me money. The girl at the register was unbelievably sweet too. The whole interaction was great. It was so great that I’m writing a review for footlocker. Mainly Jomar-he was awesome: And I saved $80 between 2 pairs of shoes today. I’ll be back!”
“I have experienced awesome customer service from the women that put my jacket on hold. She works at the register. This was on Saturday November 1, 2025. She always has a smile on her face. Then I received excellent customer service from Nathan. Nathan thank you for patent, kind and respectful. I very much appreciate you both for excellent customer service. This speaks volumes. I met the manager last weekend October 25, 2026. He is a very nice gentleman. There were two other ladies that gave me excellent customer service on the October. I remember she has beautiful purple hair. The other woman is short and petite like she held my jackets on November 1, 2026.

“I popped into Kohl’s to make a return. I had never gone into Sephora in Wallingford before. A sales person helped me pick foundation and concealer. In bringing it home I hesitated thinking the drug store could have creviced. Once I started using it I could see and feel the difference. Then me being me I did check out the drug store prices. Yes it was more but it’s comparing apples to oranges. I’ll never go back to the drug store.”
