My wife and I visited on a Saturday afternoon for the 1st time. We were greeted with a friendly welcome the second we walked in. Our server Zach was over in no time.
He brought over their cheddar bacon bread. It was absolutely amazing!
My wife got the burnt ends, brisket, salad, and sweat potato fries. Salad looked very fresh. She loved the burnt ends. We both agreed the brisket was dry (which easily happens).
I got the country fried chicken. I kept the sides that come with it (mashed potatoes and broccoli). The gravy seemed a little heavy on either sage or rosemary, so I simply scraped some off. After that it was really good. If your not big into sage or rosemary I would get the gravy on the side, like I will do next time. Chicken breading was crispy, I will say it was close to being burnt but thankfully didnt taste it. I will swap the mashed potatoes next time, it tasted like they add sour cream to them. This is becoming more and more common. Its just a personal preference. Nothing to knock them on. P.S. if you support the horned steak chain Steve's have the same mouth feel but taste better. (I still will pass on both).
If you left a 1 star review, I would give them a second chance. People will go to the same fast food or chain restaurant over and over again, regardless of how many times they mess up, yet if you cant order of the kids menu you leave a 1 star review (when you never had the food)
Im just some guy on the internet, but if you look at my other reviews I was called out by a restaurant saying I only leave 1 star reviews.
Here is a 5 star because they deserve it!

366 Main St, TerryvilleI cannot say enough of good things about the staff at ARF! I filled out the application to adopt a dog, the next day I received a phone call saying the dog I was interested in already found a home but asked if I wanted to come in and meet other dogs of course I did! I played with dogs in their very large comfortable room and found my perfect dog. I picked him the next day, the paperwork was ready when I got there it was so quick and easy. They gave us EVERYTHING we needed too! Blankets, clothes, harness, a bed, food and more!!
