CVS, the prominent pharmacy in the Hartford and West Hartford area, has garnered mixed reviews from its customers. While some praise the store's self-checkout options and the helpfulness of the staff, who are often described as "super helpful" and "engaging," others have raised concerns about the management's approach to loss prevention. The reviews highlight the compassion and patience of specific staff members, such as Desiree, who are noted for their understanding towards customers who may be facing challenges. Additionally, the retirement of a long-time pharmacist, Narin, has been met with well-wishes and appreciation for his exceptional service. Despite some negative feedback, the overall sentiment seems to be positive, with one customer describing their CVS experience as "POSITIVE AND REWARDING." The store's convenience and the availability of necessary products are also noted as key advantages.
All the staff are super helpful and very engaging. I go in often and they always greet me with a smile. Watched a young female worker help an older lady with her coupons and help her navigate the store. Not sure of these other reviews because I have seen nothing but helpfulness from the staff l.

A paticular staff member Desiree must be compassionate and patient towrds customers. Some may be sick, or having a long day or elderly. A glaring eye at a customer is not a nice feeling.

Terrible customer service with basic items all locked up. So I can't do self checkout. Wait on line to get help, wait for item to be unlocked, and wait some more to pay.
