“This review is for the gas station, not the repair business. I recently stopped here to refuel my work van. The receipt printed out at the pump, which is nice. The prices are a little on the high side, but perhaps it is the area... The signage for this place is a little lacking and traffic can be tricky because of the other adjacent businesses. Overall, not too bad. When your gas is down to vapors in the tank, you take what you can get, so I'm thankful they were there. The area seems nice.”

“Amazing quality service!!! Quick and attentive, they helped me replace my battery and Kas was simply the kindest! I was in and out of there in no time. Absolutely recommend to all, and would undoubtedly go back.”

“I recently had my headlight lens restored here and it looked like it was new. I had it done at multiple establishments in the past and none of them even came close to the job that Darien Car Clinic did.”

“I can’t tell you how happy i am with Sport Hill; my daughter goes to SHU and we are out of state her car needed breakers desperately. I called sport hill and they got us in right away. They were absolutely a pleasure to deal with and her car was fixed very quickly and rides like a brand new car. Not to mention how reasonably priced her brakes and rotors were. I have to say i might drive from Jersey to Sport Hill for my repairs. Thank you Bob and Dave! I will definitely recommend you guys on the SHU parent portal which is where i found you..”

“Highly recommended. I had my car repaired here through my insurance and they went over and beyond of repairing not only the damaged parts covered by insurance but also another area of the car too (for the same price as my deductible).”

“I had a great experience here and plan on making Glenn's my go-to mechanic. I drive an older car that frankly isn't worth very much but Glen is committed to doing the best he can to keep it on the road without breaking the bank. He's honest and extremely knowledgeable. My car has had symptoms of a blown head gasket which is why I brought it in. He spent the time to check every possible scenario before coming to the dreaded conclusion that it was indeed blown. He gave me an honest and fair cost estimate for the repair with a range of incidentals that may arise during the repair. This garage is committed to providing the highest level of service as well as value for money.”

“Carlos was super helpful. He was about to go home, but stayed late to help me with an emergency brake repair. He ran out to get the parts himself instead of waiting for a delivery. Then he quickly replaced my rotor and brake pad so that I could safely drive home. He recommended ways for me to save money--this is a sign of an honest mechanic. I was able to buy what I needed to stay safe. Show me another mechanic who will work until nearly 8 pm on a Friday night--you can't! I was very lucky to get the last-minute help.”

“Rodney and his team are generous and helpful. We bought a car and it needed a lot of work - Rodney and his team were efficient, kind, and helpful - and truly did go above and beyond to ensure we received out car as swiftly as possible. I am a bit of a ' damsel in distress' ( I don't understand cars and they intimidate me), but I never felt taken advantage of. Thank you Rodney and team.”

“I’ve been to many a gas station. I’ve been to many a highway rest stop. Nothing has topped this. The bathroom was extremely clean and well-maintained, the AC was peak on a hot day. The staff member at the counter, Peter, was delightful and I hope he has a wonderful day every day. Good stock, too! VERY cute window art. Little ducks and ponds and flowers and such. I love this gas station.”

“This reststop is so epic. Chipotle, Dunkin, Panera, Cinnabun, Mcdonalds, and more. Bathrooms are decently clean. Plenty of space to sit and eat or relax. Big gas station. Overall great place to stop. I always stop here when im driving north.”

“Best prices around, and well-run. The windshield washer fluid is always filled. There are many bays, so it's rare that you have to wait. Most locals enter on the north, and exit on the south. Decent mini-mart.”

“Where has this place been. We have driven on I95 for several years but always go to the service area before or after this one. Big mistake. This service area although has the same stores and fast food areas like the others, just seemed to be more clean and organized than the others. Smaller reat area, but the atmosphere was better. Not sure how I can say that, but it just seemed better.”

The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.

The truck stop company will upgrade its stores through its Strategic Remodel Initiative, which started in 2022. Read the postTexas-born Buc-ee's is changing the way people think about gas stations and convenience stores. This chain is known for its huge stores along highways, some with over 100 fuel pumps. With its funny billboard ads, award-winning clean bathrooms, and branded items Buc-ee’s is hard to miss. The company wants people to actually plan to stop at Buc-ee's during road trips, not just go there as a last resort. And it's working - the chain has a huge fan base, with Facebook groups dedicated to Buc-ee's having hundreds of thousands of members.

Read the postLove's Travel Stops is rolling out a new system that turns work into a game for its restaurant employees. Picture this: Three big screens in each restaurant, tracking how fast workers greet customers, take orders, and hand out food. It's not just for show - early results say it's making service 11 seconds faster on average. "These monitors track key performance metrics in real-time, such as greet times, order processing times and the time it takes for food handoff," Love's explains. The system creates a more interactive environment, fostering friendly competition between stores.
