After my car had to be towed the night before, they called me first thing in the morning to let me know what was wrong, the pricing, etc. I had my car back and running by 2pm! They provided a thorough overview of my car, including the engine, brakes, and other essential parts, ensuring I left with complete confidence that my vehicle was safe to drive and ready for the road.

“I cannot recommend these guys ENOUGH. My car needed an emergent repair (even a temporary one just to be able to drive it) and even though these guys were booked solid, they allowed me to bring it in to take a quick look - they ended up keeping my car and able to fix it by the next day saving me a ton of money on a car rental, and didn't charge me an arm and a leg. I cannot say enough nice things about these guys. Thanks again!!”

“All of the positive reviews were spot on!!!! I live in NJ and my daughter attends college in Fairfield CT and her car broke down in the Easton Area at night. A friend picked her up and she left her car at a local park for the night. I had no idea what tow company or what repair shop to use so I looked at reviews and Old Bluebird's reviews sounded like exactly what I was looking for. I called at 7am the next morning, Chris answered promptly, gave me the name of a recommended towing company and said that he would contact me as soon as he had the car and assessed the problem. Long story short, the tow company was right on time and Chris had contacted me within 2 hours to tell me that my daughters car needed a new radiator. What's best of all is that he had it fixed and ready to go the same day for a very reasonable price. I trust this company and recommend them.”

They give you the best scenario option if a plug isn't the right thing to do. I've been coming here my whole life and I always recommend others to come here too. I was just in the other week. They took care of my Civic Type R! I forgot my lug nut adapter and came back the next day and they took care of me very quick! I was out in 15 minutes! Talk about service!”

“I brought my toddler to get my emissions done. While waiting, the staff were absolutely great to her! They had a toy box set out in the waiting area, chatted with her, and let her watch the mechanics through the door. When we got called, there was a an issue getting my PHEV to run the ICE. They handled the issue with care and consideration without holding up other customers. The staff is extremely friendly with customers and amongst themselves from I experienced.”
“Honestly very happy with my experience here. I was expecting to pay much more, nearly double than what I actually paid. He didn’t even bill me for a full hour of work, when I’m sure many other shops would’ve drilled into my pockets for the same service or would’ve billed a full hour if able.Reading through the reviews on this thread, it seems as if many of the one-star reviews involve being towed. Of course if your cars towed you’re going to have a horrible experience. Shame to see this shop owner becoming the punching bag.All in all, my opinion is that he’s a skillful mechanic and trustworthy guy. Will go back again in the unfortunate event of car trouble.”
