“All of the positive reviews were spot on!!!! I live in NJ and my daughter attends college in Fairfield CT and her car broke down in the Easton Area at night. A friend picked her up and she left her car at a local park for the night. I had no idea what tow company or what repair shop to use so I looked at reviews and Old Bluebird's reviews sounded like exactly what I was looking for. I called at 7am the next morning, Chris answered promptly, gave me the name of a recommended towing company and said that he would contact me as soon as he had the car and assessed the problem. Long story short, the tow company was right on time and Chris had contacted me within 2 hours to tell me that my daughters car needed a new radiator. What's best of all is that he had it fixed and ready to go the same day for a very reasonable price. I trust this company and recommend them.”

“Had a great experience with Smitty’s. We were driving from New Jersey and had to be at a wedding in Boston last Friday night. Cruising along at 65 mph on the Merritt Parkway when the yellow check engine light came on and the car suddenly lost most of its power. I immediately got off at the next exit which was Norwalk Connecticut. Did a search for local service centers and Smitty’s seemed to be the closest. Without an appointment, I drove up and one of the owners had one of his mechanics come out and put the car on a scope to diagnose it. It turned out to be a misfiring cylinder. The mechanic ordered the necessary parts from a parts dealer who apparently was very close. Within one hour I was back on the road. Dropping the work that he was doing in order to help me out went above and beyond and I am truly thankful for that. I consider it one of the luckiest days in my life!”

He was clear about offering me two options a cheap one and a good one. I'll tell you I was jumping for joy when I heard the price of the good option. Similar shops quoted me double. My car sounds and runs great now, thanks to his team and they have a returning customer.”
