“I came in looking for a new pair of running shoes after experiencing some discomfort with a previous pair of new balances I bought last year. Immediately walking in Brandon greeted me and began helping me. Asking for all my information, pulling up my account to view my previous purchased shoes to get a better understanding of my issue. He helped find the right shoe based on my concerns, talked me through two different options. Brandon was absolutely amazing, high energy and very knowledgeable. I would recommend seeing him if you ever go into this location! Thank you Brandon!”

“I don’t typically feel welcome in stores like this, so I went in here expecting to be totally uncomfortable. However, this store in particular was very very welcoming, had a calm environment and it wasn’t too overwhelming like most VS/Pink stores. I wanted to give a shoutout in particular to Liz for making the entire experience something that was not only very helpful in measuring and ordering online for me my perfect size, but being very welcoming and open as well. Well done to this store! ✨”
“Extremely friendly staff. Beautiful displays. Clean, clean, clean throughout the store. A great variety of merchandise from pet products to outdoor survival. All this store would need is some live animal or fish on display, and my day would have felt like a daycation.L.L. Bean is a first-class operation, and although pricey, you get well made high quality merchandise that last. I have a L.L. Bean winter jacket that is now 24 years old and is still as good as when brand new.If getting to the store is not possible, try their website. Another 5 star operation. Their variety, availability, and range of sizes are amazing.As you can tell, I recommend a trip to this store for a great experience.”

“K-Barbs is a VIBE! The owner is fabulous. She makes you feel extremely comfortable and is so easy to talk to. I'm personally a huge tom boy and she makes me want to get out of my comfort zone and want to express my femininity. 10/10 hands down, she has the BEST boutique shopping experience in Connecticut. I don't dress up often but when I do I'm definitely coming to K-Barbs. ?”
“Went in looking for boots to shovel snow in. The selection wasn't what I expected but ended up buying a very comfortable and reasonable pair that not only can I use to shovel snow in but also work around the house or job in. Ahn (not off) and another young man (not sure of his name) helped me while Emily cashed my wife and I out. The experience was great and always is in one of your stores. “This particular stores customer service was amazing . I was from out of town and had a faulty boot with me. I showed them the receipt, and how the boot wasn't that old. They pointed out how it was defective and replaced it for me. I'm very grateful for their staff and their knowledge.”

“Was looking for a small suitcase and a cocktail dress for an event on the west coast. Saw the suitcase (cute, hard-side carryon with diesel zippers) right as I walked in and found a beautiful dress on a clearance rack, but it was far too long. The employee running the fitting room showed me a way to maintain the silhouette of the dress and shared the name of her tailor. She also assured me I could return it in thirty days as long as I hadn’t had it altered yet. Excellent customer service at this store!”
“Manager was really nice helping me get the measurements for my sons suit but I wish I didn't have to go back and forth between stores just to get it done. Both stores had the measuring tape but it felt like a hassle to just get measurements until the manager was called and it was done properly”

“lovedddd her gift shop! she was very kind and helpful and her pup was sooo cuteee! all the displays transports you to an old world charms! lotsss of beautiful things collected from all over.. there were some printed quilted jackets even that you get in Jaipur, India.. i went back to get some handmade soaps, a pair of lavender embroidered small cushions, beautiful paper napkins and scented candle and a big but light metal vase with painted and etched flowers! she packed them so well for my long trip home! so glad i walked into her store! highly recommend if you’re in the town!”

“My family visited the JCPenney photo studio on Thursday and Friday to take family portraits. With several small children in the group, it was quite chaotic trying to get everyone to look in the same direction at the same time. However, Avery, our photographer, was incredibly patient and energetic, making the experience much easier. He worked wonderfully with the kids and even gave us extra prints as a thoughtful gesture for our patience while waiting for other families to finish their sessions. I would definitely recommend this location for family photos.”

I tried on so many pairs of jeans but her and another store associate, Adrian I think her name was..? were both super helpful, kind and patient with me! Wendy was able to match most of the clothes prices that were on sale on their website which was a plus and I was able to purchase everything I needed. Yesterday my daughter and I went to the mall for HOP TOPIC. So first, LOVE Hot Topics clearance: buy two get two free & 30% off, etc. etc. So of course we took advantage of the buy two get two free , as we approach the cash register, Emily was attentive and very kind as she started to service us . During this transaction. My daughter and I started discussing her “gaming/ streaming“ stuff that personally I have no idea what she does. It’s over my head as the old lady that I am. Anyways, my daughter mentioned a character and seemed disappointed that she couldn’t find. Emily to the rescue, chimed in and stated that they do indeed have this character in a T-shirt. My daughter perked up like she had just won the lottery , so thrilled that Emily showed her this item. Emily and Diego chatted my daughter regarding her gaming and streaming gig on TWITCH. All three were basically talking foreign to me, but my daughter, who is normally an introvert showed the social skills of an ‘MC’ for a show. Anyways, I inquired about honoring military ID and Emily and Diego spoke up singularly with an “absolutely“!
The minimal transaction that we experienced with Emily and Diego may seem moot to others as where they both were “just doing their job”.
In this case, that is not true, Emily proceeded to tell me that on every item, a military discount was entered. (which I love because I’m a total “frugal Franny”) and the interaction we all experienced was the upmost joyful experience..( Emily displayed knowledge of the inventory in the store, which ended up as an additional item that we purchased. The kindness and respect she showed my daughter and I was an action that one doesn’t normally see in young adults( i’m referring to employees that disrespect their elders with a short, sharp tongue or that general eye roll and /or minimal interaction with a customer) . I know I’m babbling on, but I just wanted to commend these two employees (Emily and Diego) for doing a wonderful job of making MALL shopping a pleasant experience. They both get 10/10 from us.
