“Great staff. The older man was amazing he was so helpful And went out of his way to make us happy. I will always go back to Redmans and I will always be grateful. The trucks were clean and good prices. They weren't mad that I was a day late returning the van it's like working with someone who cares and truly wants to help. They offer hand trucks and boxes and any way to help with stuff you need for a move. No hassle with credit cards or showing bills. It's very easy to rent. They even let me park my truck there so I could move easier with less hassle for me. Will def come back”

“Last night we were driving a U-Haul trailer from Massachusetts to Virginia when the trailer lights suddenly went out. I stopped at the U-Haul Center in Naugatuck and the gentleman at the desk immediately stopped what he was doing to help us. He assessed a problem with a fuse on my car and replaced it. He filled our tires with air, gave my dogs some love and then wished us well on our way. We left with a very positive feeling towards U-Haul. I rarely feel that way about a company any more”

Pick-up/drop-off was after office hours, reservation, and the entire process was done through the U-haul App.This locations has a lot of signage to guide you as well!The only thing I had struggled with - as of August 2023 - the key box #1 lock was stuck (first opened only for about quarter of an inch), took about 5-7 minutes to get it to fully open and obtain the key.”

“Yesterday I was driving a U-Haul trailer from Massachusetts to Virginia, and the trailer lights went out. we stopped at U-Haul Waterbury Downtown, and the young lady behind the desk stopped what she was doing and helped us assess the problem. They don’t work on trailers at this location, so she then directed me to the U-Haul in Naugatuck where they may be able to help me. They did; and I’m appreciative of her assistance in assessing and assisting with the situation.”

“Rente a rock hound, picked it up at 7 am. It was ready. Around 1pm it blew an O ring. We called. I walked across the street to do something was gone a total 10 mins. When I walked back, the service guy was already cleaning up. That's fast. Thank you guys”

“Today I observed an incident that speaks to the caliber of people working at Plainville UHaul. There was a customer who had an unreasonable request for a cash refund. He was relentless! He continued to badger her and he wouldn't leave. I've worked with the public for over 50 years, and I don't know how I would have handled it. I felt bad for the 3 people at the front end who were trying to help other customers, and I also noticed a camaraderie among them as they supported each other. The young man who waited on me continued, unfazed, smiling, knowledgeable, and polite.Who wants to move? No one I know. Let's try to be kinder out there to the people who are charged with enforcing rules they didn't create. Nice job, Plainville!”
