“Small but high quality service. The “new” owner now for several years is a very nice and obliging man. A great place to buy a bike or have it serviced. As a life long bike rider who does about 3,000 miles/ year on road and gravel bikes I’d much rather come here than the big “Recreational Equipment” retailer further down the Post Road.”
“Karl has built up and maintained my bike for the past 6 years. I love him. He’s not only a great mechanic but a great guy, and funny too! Highly recommend True Cyclery for custom top of the line bike purchases (road, gravel, mountain) and maintenance!”
“They helped me right away. I would have came back but a spot opened up and they took the bike right in. Small bmx bike needed service. My son said it rides better and notices a difference. We purchased some cool bells the kids wanted and they put it on for me. Happy customers! We'll be back!”
“Took my bike in with a flat and a busted tire, they fixed it right up with very reasonable prices and even adjusted my seat when I wasn't looking--the whole thing rides so much smoother now, and I'm incredibly grateful! Also got some good stories of bike shop history in New Haven while I was at it. All in all, a very productive and entertaining visit!”
“In town for work and wanted to take advantage of the Farmington Canal Trail while I was here. I called Cheshire Bike Shop and spoke with Dylan, who was so helpful. The next day, I showed up with a coworker and we were off biking in no time!
If you’re looking for a great bike shop with friendly, helpful service, Cheshire Bike Shop is it! 🚲”
“I had a great experience here. The owner took the time to properly measure me, walk through different bike options, and explain what would actually fit my needs rather than just trying to make a sale.
What really stood out was the honesty. When he couldn’t match an online sale price, he straight up told me to go for the better deal online. That kind of integrity is rare and says a lot about how this shop is run.”

“What a 5 Star Experience! Devotees of cycling, the D'Aniello family do not just run a bike business but a top notch 'welcome center' for the range of bike enthusiasts!
Having just bought my 2nd bike, I marveled at the activity in the shop~ the tri-athlete getting a shoe adjustment, the mom with the 5 year old who was transitioning to her 1st 'real' bike, the weekend rider dropping by to pick up their 'tune up', the 'fitting' for the teen whose Dad was buying her hybrid, the Club Racer stopping by to congratulate Kurt on his 2013 National Mountain Bike Silver Medal.
Kurt D'Aniello having taken over the business from his parents, Guy (road racing 40 yrs) & Sue (cycling advocate) continues with his experienced team ~ Eric, Rich & Gab~ to make Amity Bicycles a MUST bike shop to visit.
You are not a number at Amity bike, you are welcomed into the world of biking at whatever place you are and you leave with just what you needed and a feeling of great appreciation for their incredible knowledge and 'old fashion' customer service.”
