The instructors are patient and helpful, great at demonstrating lifts, suggesting modifications, offering form corrections, and giving adjustments or substitute exercises. The classes are focused on lifting heavy with barbells and dumbbells in a non-competitive environment that is not a gym bro culture. It is a diverse gym with a lot of queer and female members and people of all body types. The programming provides a great balance, focused on strength training with a consistent yet varied structure that allows for steady progress without being repetitive. Classes are small and intimate with very nice people. The overall attitude is accommodating and not pressured, fine for having an off day, which creates the best vibes. It is an incredible gym with an amazing and personalized experience, suitable for both strength training novices and experts. The first class is free.
