“I was looking for a new place to get African fabric for a better price and more prints I ran across this business on goggle the reviews were mixed but I am so glad I went this place is a paradise for fabric and all things in-between!!!! Be ready to spend some times because it's so stuff!!! It can be a bit overwhelming but take your time they have several people their to help it is a small space it's pretty organized and the prices OMG!!!! You can't beat them they are so reasonable!!! I will definitely be making this my new go to place for fabrics and other sewing needs”

“Fun place to shop. If you like quality in your clothing this brand exceeds expectations. My issue is that they are seasonal and they sell out quickly so when I see something online, I head in to try it on while they have it in stock (the 1-year return policy is real!). The staff is very friendly, engaging but not in your face. Gary - the manager - and his assistant - Nestor - really know how elevate the shopping experience. One thing, stick to clothes, your dining recs were really not on point - Chicken + Whiskey is not a great date spot. I'll keep coming back to the slub tee's though..”

“My mom bought me a few pairs of leggings that weren't my style so I went to this store to try a few others. I was a bit overwhelmed by all the options -- Honey helped me by asking a bit more about how I planned to wear them, pointing out a few options. I spent amount of time in the store and had multiple follow up questions about warmth, colors and length and Honey answered them all with complete patience. The style I wanted wasn't in stock so she had them sent to my house, free of charge. Great experience -- now I just wish Georgetown parking wasnt such a hassle :)”

The first thing I noticed was how incredibly soft and comfortable their clothes are—seriously, every piece feels like something you’d want to live in. I picked up one of their signature flannel shirts and a summer dress, and both are now staples in my closet.
I also love their laid-back, coastal vibe—everything looks effortlessly stylish but still practical for everyday wear. The quality is top-notch, and you can tell a lot of thought goes into the materials and details.
Prices are definitely on the higher side, but I think the comfort, durability, and classic design make it worth it. I’ll absolutely be shopping here again.”

“This was my second time visiting The Phoenix. Very cute shop with a unique inventory. I was able to find a cute gift for my brother. I do agree with other reviews, the employees watch you as a hawk, but I just ignore them. The cashier was very nice and even offered to pack the gift, free of charge! I will the wrapping paper would have been Christmas colors instead of a bright yellow. Most items are on the expensive side. Still, I'll be returning... probably for Mother's Day.”
