The Garden Center at The Home Depot in Washington, DC offers everything from plants, trees, and shrubs to soil, mulch, and tools for all gardening and landscaping needs. The location is perfect with a parking lot shared with a grocery store and other local shops. The people who work there are extremely helpful, providing the best customer service and going above and beyond to assist. Employees are expert and helpful with locating products, including rental tools and electrical items, and can help secure items in a vehicle. The business carries seasonal plants, outdoor decor like Halloween decorations, and a wide product inventory including moving supplies, with fast and often free delivery. While it can be busy and chaotic during the day, the expert team helps gardens thrive year-round.
I wanted to post my experience since the review here are so old. Everyone I interacted with was kind. Multiple people tried to help with my questions, were patient and generous with advice. I wouldn’t describe the employees as overly warm, but they absolutely knew their work and were willing to provide assistance!

Went during the day to pick up some indoor plants. The plant selection was nice although a bit messy and unorganized.
