“A store for premium fragrance that are not ordinary! As a fragrance lover I was not aware of Diptyque until I visited the store in Georgetown in Washington DC. Up until now I thought Paco R, Armani, Dior etc are the premium fragrances but that notion changed upon entering the store and seeing their product range. The store itself has a great vibe and smelled go good. To be honest I was overwhelmed with their range so needed help to pick one.If I recall correctly, it was Jessica who came to my aid. She inquired about my fragrance preferences and introduced me to a selection, including some top sellers. After sampling a few, I chose Orpheon, which exceeded my expectations—it garnered so many compliments. The fragrance was certainly a splurge, but it proved to be worth every penny. Its long-lasting scent and premium quality made it a standout purchase.”

“As this Room and Board was in downtown DC, I did not exist the store to be so large. It occupies all 3 floors of the corner building it occupies and there are many pieces of furniture, rugs, accessories, lamps, etc. I really like the mid- century modern/ contemporary furniture and the textiles (pillows, rugs, linens) are terrific. If you're in the market for this style of furniture or home goods, this is a great stop to make.”

“Patrick's is a beautiful gem on the Wharf. I see in the reviews below other shoppers mention their price point and the owner being "rude", but I'll have to come to their defense. The owner is not rude, he's actually a lovely person with a dry sense of humor, which I realize some may take as rude, but he is not. Getting to know him has been a treat. The owners of this business have been in interiors and decor for a long while and have a gift. Their store is stocked with classic high-end dinnerware, tableware, art, candles, jewelry, picture frames, and all sorts of home goods and beautiful treasures. Mixed in with the higher-end offerings are plenty of affordable and beautiful items, too. I think a sign of a well-made shop is one that provides goods for all variations of shoppers, which is a challenge, but Patricks does this well. Do yourself a favor and visit them. I shop here often and cannot say enough kind things! I am excited to see what they bring out for Easter!”

“I visited this showroom back in May 2024 so that I could actually sit on, touch, and feel some of the couches and sectionals. I ended up going with the Holt sectional and ottoman. It arrived the 2nd week in August and I am loving it. I selected the plush terra rose fabric and it is absolutely gorgeous!!! The seating is large, roomy and comfortable. So happy I chose Joybird because the quality and build are exceptional. Thank you to the manager Cynthia who very helpful throughout my experience.”
“Absolutely love this location. Everyone who worked there was wonderful, but Ernest was particularly amazing. He helped me and my mom immensely as we were searching for items for my new apartment. He truly went above and beyond by offering tailored advice, helping us make difficult choices, and packaging our items perfectly. He also kindly walked us out to the car with our items. Beyond providing help with our shopping, he was also an incredibly kind and thoughtful person - it was so nice to get to know him, and I will absolutely be returning to this location because of my experience working with someone as special as Ernest!”
