Hotel Lombardy is a charming boutique hotel located at the intersection of Pennsylvania and I Street in Washington, D.C. Known for its great location, guests can easily walk to attractions like the White House. The hotel offers a warm and cozy atmosphere, with beautifully maintained rooms that blend classic elegance with modern comfort. While some rooms may feel a bit "old," many guests appreciate their cleanliness and spaciousness. The hotel features a delightful restaurant and a bar/lounge, although some have noted a greasy smell in these areas. Customer service receives high praise, particularly from the friendly doormen and staff who go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. Guests have reported issues with Wi-Fi in some rooms, but the staff is accommodating, even moving guests to nicer suites at no extra charge. Amenities include a well-stocked mini bar and work desks, though the gym is small, and parking incurs an additional fee. Overall, Hotel Lombardy provides a comfortable and memorable experience, making it a recommended choice for those visiting the city. However, guests should note limited halal food options nearby and the absence of certain conveniences like microwaves and pools.
Historic building in the center of DC. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms had thoughtful layout.

Great experience and location. Beautiful furnishings. Only wish is that our room had a microwave.

I’ve seen some reviews calling this place luxurious which is crazy; it’s very dated. However it was clean, inexpensive, very centrally located, and not too noisy.
